Villagers in one Fiji Island are being forced to relocate because of rising sea levels caused by global warming. As the community runs out of ways to adapt to the rising Pacific ocean levels, the 80 villagers are facing the painful decision of whether to leave behind their homes and relocate.

One of the main causes of sinking is the excessive pumping of groundwater. One of our islands has sunk, an underwater volcanic eruption is responsible for it: it's like pressing on a tube of toothpaste, the lava comes out and the rest flattens.

CA , is part of a much larger landmass , and those around the Bay area will notice it , as will the southern states - Florida has already started falling to bits . The islands of Nuie , this century , have been regularly nundated by salt water , as does Naru , and many more .

hahaha, exactly, you havent seen it yet on your island, coz the islands are sinking back to the ocean bed from whence they came, at differing rates. water cannot be higher at one point than another , it is always level. Dont be scammed, your islands are sinking, it is not rising water. In Australia the sea level has not altered even minutely so how it it be higher there. it is scientifically impossable, wake up, learn, and understand the geology of our planet. dont be so easily misled, good luck.

Another thing to look at beautiful young lady is this fact. The world has many of her lakes disappearing which the inside can only hold so much. Then there are many of the inactive volcanoes suddenly waking up. They do so when the heat is overwhelming down there and raising the pressures pushing water and volcanic rock into our ocean. Think of the ocean and lakes and aquifers as the holding tank for the coolant in your car. The one that you fill when it gets low. As the engine heats up the thermostat opens up and allows for the free flow of the coolant through the engine to cool it off. The earth does the same thing. Now what to look at is what is our atmosphere made up of mainly? Water right? If there isn’t enough evaporation taking place then there isn’t enough water in the atmosphere which causes the atmosphere to thin out right? So was the cfc’s the real cause of the hole in the ozone layer or is it a lack of water? So… where is all of the water going? All the disappearing lakes? All this added mass we’re adding to the oceans in underground bases and oil rigs? Boats? We’re overfishing which takes mass out of the oceans. If we’re not careful then we could end up just like Mars with next to no atmosphere and loads of frozen water underground.
