Georgian protesters have the right to defend themselves

"Russian law" is the same as "American law" that's been in power in the US for almost a hundred years. I don't see where the problem is?!

What is the actual issue here? The law itself, or the way that the EU and the US are using it as a threat? I'd bet all of my worldy possessions, that if we went to the square right now, and asked the first ten protestors we came across, they woundn't be able to tell us the details of this law, or a single way in which it would affect them directly. They also would be surprised to learn that they US already has a similar law; only much stricter. So why are people calling it "the Russian Law", and not the "American Law"? This is how the catastrophe is Ukraine strated ten years ago. Exactly the same way. Eerily so. I strongly suggest that Georgians who care about their nation Google the document: "Expanding Russia", produced by the Rand Corporation. Not an avid reader? Start with Chapter 4, Geoploitical Measures. Your future has been outlined there in black-and-white.

Every sovereign country should have such law. US has control over all media in EU and many other countries.

Let the Georgians decide what is best for them. Who are you to define what law should be there in another country?
