It's not a big deal WION Rabi simply didn't have Nepalese citizenship. Tell me which country allows non-citizens to hold government position? Rabi can always come back to the political scenario later after he completes his application for citizenship. This is a most valid decision of Nepal's supreme court that will create a strong line for future candidates who will not be able to join the country's government without it. It's not a political issue, it's a civil issue that never happened before and is just an erroneous mistake made by both Rabi and election officials.

Nepal's law clearly says : when someone takes foreign citizenship, Nepali citizenship remains dormant . When that person decides to abandon foreign citizenship the same dormant citizenship becomes active. So where is the problem? There is no problem at all: dormant citizenship became active again.
