Palki has set the record straight, that was much needed.
@aswertyish3 жыл бұрын
Lol what record straight? It is disgusting to see a women of different religion try to dictate the action of women of another religion. You know that most Muslim women wears the hijab willingly so then banning the hijab is for her own interest not Muslim women interest. Why don't proceed to banning head scarf of nuns and force women monks to not cut their hair since it is apparent for woin that hair is equals to women identity
@ppsnorth13 жыл бұрын
@@aswertyish nice try but you are unfortunately trying to kick in some logic into the people who have never been taught about tolerance. World is much bigger and there are better places to spend your energy other than such single cell brains
@aswertyish3 жыл бұрын
@Ordinary Man well, I don't want to waste my time and discuss about the specifics as I can just go Google and paste the other interpretations of the specific verses you mentioned. I won't want to misinterpret Islam as a whole by quoting a few verses that could be tied to other verses which could mean different things when the verses stand alone. So as an ordinary person who is not well verse in quran, I would like to urge you to think this logically. If a woman in Islam believes that wearing the headscarf is the right thing to do and wearing headscarf does not hurt anyone, why ban it? I am sure you are not Muslim as you said that Allah mention that headscarf is mandatory and you disagree with it, why dictate the religious action of people of other religion. Would you ask nun to remove headscarf or prevent women monk from cutting their hair? I am for the freedom of an individual and trying to dictate what they wear is simply wrong. I am sure some women monks don't want to cut their hair but do so for the sake of devotion. I am sure that nun cover their hair for the sake of modesty. So why ban headscarf?
@aswertyish3 жыл бұрын
@Ordinary Man lol, can you introduce me to the scholars you've been talking to, cause I am only thinking about the ban logically as an outsider. Maybe you can ask them about the moral stance of forcing women to wear the headscarf. In Islam, from what I know, you can't force people to do anything, only encourage them. The existence of heaven and hell is a belief base on the religion. Which based on your response, you don't belief the existence of it. It is not ok for person like you who don't have the same belief to dictate the the action of others through your line of thinking as you don't have the same belief. Can vegans prevent others from eating meat simply because they believe that meat is not healthy?
@aswertyish3 жыл бұрын
@Ordinary Man it is simple really. The hijab ban is supported mainly by non-muslim even though the ban is created for Muslim women. So it can be seen as Indian non-muslim wants to oppress the Indian muslim thus the ban is created. Tell me if you disagree. Hijab is harmless, it is used to cover hair for modesty. Why ban it?

You can't really say "yes", unless you are free to say "no". The hijab is worn by thousands of women in Switzerland and it does not cause any problems. Women are even very free to choose colours and styles of dresses or long-sleeved tops and pants. There is a lot of variety and the women can express themselves, but it is only the rich Saudis who come with their families to spend money and their women wear the burka. The burka is not a problem, it is what it represents- oppression and if a non-muslum woman goes to Iran, Afganistan, or any arab country, they must wear a head scarf. However Christians in these countries are outcast and churches are not allowed so why should Europeans accept the burka. A few years back, the Saudi prince came to Geneva and stayed in a 5 star hotel, but he beat his servants and was charged. There was a scandal because he felt it was his business if he beats his servants. He was so angry that he cut Switzerland off of oil and threatened to take his money out of Swiss banks. The majority of Swiss people do not support oppression and the latest vote is proof. No burkas or garments that cover the face rendering the person unidentifiable.

They are even being killed for eating in front of upper castes people in 2021. On the other hand, this religion teaches Hindus to worship Animals and teaches to eat their faeces and urine (cows) and Hindus are ok with it. Muslim women who chose to veil, however, have a different perspective. They tend to view hijab as liberating rather than oppressive. When asked why they veil, Muslim women offer a variety of reasons. Included among these are the belief that hijab represents: an expression of one’s spirituality, a way to convey modesty that fosters an internal sense of respect, a manifestation of one’s identity as a Muslim, a source of female empowerment, an expression of activism and pride, a means to command increased respect from men in social encounters, a mechanism to enhance emotional and physical intimacy in marriage, a source of emancipation or liberation from western fashion standards, a means to reject objectification and sexual exploitation, and an act of rebellion against western media messages.

I, personally, don’t have a problem with the hijab that doesn’t cover the face. But the ones that cover the face, I think, shouldn’t be wore in non Muslim countries, specially those that value face to face interactions as a sign of respecto towards the culture. In Mexico going to meetings or eating with a hat/cap on is seen as rude (even if it doesn’t obscure your face), as if you didn’t want to show your face to others. It’s common that people will take their hats/caps off when you meet them to say hi and then put it back on. Banks and other certain places forbid the use of caps and sunglasses inside their businesses because of security reasons. I understand the part of wanting to show “loyalty” to your culture, but to many people it looks more like not wanting to integrate to the other culture.The sister of a friend lives in an Arab country (don’t remember what country) where hijab is not mandatory, but she still wears it (the simple head scarf) because she says is a sing of respect towards the culture of that country (and she’s not Muslim). I think banning hijab that don’t cover the face is stupid and has no real reason or justification, the only I agree is the ones that cover the face for security reasons. The government doesn’t have to do it, but it has to give the right to business to say if they want or not people covering their faces in their stores (for security reasons). And that does not mean banning all types of hijab from stores (I don’t think that is right), just saying that if you want to enter this store you have to take off anything that covers your face (sunglasses, caps, and yes things like the burqa).

@@jaweriyasaba2121 yeah..they "support" u cuz 1.either they ur uneducated 2.u shape their minds in school's that they should wear them... 3.educated women as u saw in the report just now are reluctant to "support" u...as u saw..so u use "law" as a means to pressure them.. Don't bullshit me that they want to wear a black outfit that literally cooks them from inside in a hot climate(most of the middle East)

Oh man.. hijab and covering body was once upon a time a social status and protection. But nowadays it's not required (on the logical basis atleast) it is made into religious identity.

Niqab isn't must. One is simply told to cover the the head ( hair , ears, neck) and the body should be covered as well. They don't wear it because they're shamed or anything.

If you choose to wear a hijab as an adult, from free choice, theres no problem. The problem is forcing children and teens to wear it, husbands forcing wives to and government forcing women to.

Yea as a Muslim I agree. Mullas and scholars still issue fatwa telling to force woman
