Since you are enjoying the hand stitching, I think you'd like the Welsh quilting. My hands won't do hand quilting much anymore, but it is a very soothing craft. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with your Ashford loom! Maybe I'll get encouraged enough to work on mine again.

I enjoy the variety of things you do and share, from bees to garden to just being very creative so just do what you would enjoy and so will we. Would love to see the apron project .

Thanks a lot for your video!!! Maybe I’ll like to see you quilting by hand because it’s interesting me to see and understand…and I feel I’d love quilting by hand but never try 😅 I’d like to learn and share with you, even on a small piece…just to see: maybe on an quilted apron 😉

My spinning apron is double sided… plain homespun cotton… light coloured for dark wool and a dark colour for white or pale wool…. It’s relaxing to the eyes….and don’t forget a pocket on each side for “ pickings”.

Just finished doing some clearing out for charity and organizing all my knitting needles and cords etc in 1 bag. Whoo Hooo!!! Becca please film whatever you want to work on no matter what. If it's something that some folks aren't interested in they just will skip that part or not watch the whole video perhaps? Don't worry! I bet most of us are dipping into many different things.

​@@bybeccalewisHi Becca, Happy New year. I was also going to recommend Sarah Howarth and Wear your Weaving. You'll absolutely love it. She uses an Ashford Loom, I think it's the 20 ins one. She lives in Surrey (I think that's where she said). She takes you through the whole process of what she's doing, what she's using for the warp and then the weft yarn. She does spin her own yarn. She calls it Weaving on A Small Loom, so no one misses out really. Think I'm going to have to get one of my looms out and see what I can do. I've just got a larger Niddy Noddy, I'm struggling to wrap my Handspun Yarn round it, I have a much smaller one, I can wrap no problem, go to the large one and my brain doesn't seem to be able to process this one. 😭🤣🤣. I hope your 3rd Christmas is as good as the other 2. Hi Becca, I think the wool bead necklace might be achievable and sounds interesting you could do so much with that as well as the rag rug the possibilities are endless there. Would also love to hear more about Welsh Quilting. I am currently knitting a poncho, currently working on a very small blessing cross stitch sampler for the New Year. I have other small projects that I am doing in between. I want to also do some slow stitching as well and some sock knitting soon as I made my first socks last year and really love them. Thanks for sharing.

I think a lot of us are multi passionate as the kids say . There is so much cross over from fiber to textile arts . Your new year's projects sound like so much fun small projects are great for feeling like you are achieving something.
