Well, the interaction with the crew is really a nice touch but i see the 3D virtual cockpit graphics a bit flat, not as good as they could be, looks like the current 777 versión but may be because is a wip, also the windshields are like if they are not there, we are in 2022 guys, the graphics details must be really accurate, take a look at the Fenix, you can achieve this level of detail in the incoming FF 777 for sure, no doubt of this, go ahead FF devs!.

Unlike the old voices these are state of the art AI voices, the best money can buy today. As for the feature, I think you will change your mind when you see the who thing in action. Airlines and MCC go hand in hand
@Aviate682 жыл бұрын
@@ramzzess Thanks for educating me! I was not aware that these were state-of-the-art AI voices! Reading your comment actually made me laugh out loud. To me, it sounded like a port from the old 777 with some changes; I am 99% sure that the pilot's voice is the EXACT same. Maybe, like me, you don't bother with that stupid voice to begin with, so you may have forgotten what it sounds like. I could be wrong about the other voices; maybe they are new. This does not change the fact that they are still, in fact, AI voices. I am not interested in listening to or using these terrible voice lines if this is what the final product will sound like. To me, it completely kills my immersion and adds absolutely nothing to MCC, but that is my personal opinion. I wonder how much it would cost to divert the money spent on these "best-that-money-can-buy" voices towards paying literally anyone with some background in aviation to sit down, pretend to be a pilot or a ground handler, and record some actual voiceover lines to be used in the product....just a thought. Good try on justifying it, though, but I will guarantee you that I will not be changing my mind on whether I like or dislike the AI voices... This is an absolute joke compared to what DCS has done with their voiced UI interaction on their aircraft.

@@Aviate68 I am sorry I that sounded condescending, wasn't meant to be. I would not dream of "educating" anyone and of course you are free to dislike what you want. But still, it seems that you have not read carefully what we are doing. First of all, of those AI voices are totally different and are the best we could find. If you have a suggestion for AI voices which we missed, go ahead, I will be happy to use better ones. As for real recorded voices, which of course sound better than AI, as we said many times before. It is unreliable and unchangeable (a n artist will not support additions and changes forever), it is much much more expensive - to answer your question, it would literary costs tens of thousands of dollars record. At the moment, we already have 5000 separate meaningful phrases with 1000 of those having 3-20 variants, in total about 10K phrases between 4 characters. it is also a work in progress, so it would be ineffective to use 4 real people now in any case. Also, if you have missed that. As a response to customers not liking the captain's voice, we have chosen an alternative which will be an options. This was done by a poll. As for voices not adding to MCC, I am not sure what MCC is without voice. 99% of MCC is verbal
@Aviate682 жыл бұрын
@@ramzzess that was very informative! I did now know that. Will look forward to the finished product. My comment on MCC was stating that personally hearing an unrealistic sounding ai voice takes me out of the cockpit and ensures that I am aware that this is just a sim...where the goal might be to create as realistic of a feeling as possible the ai voice would defeat that goal for me personally. As I said I'm sure others will have a different opinion.

In the real plane it takes 2 minutes from the moment the power comes on until the moment all the screens light up, and the sounds are absolutely unrealistic. Instead of equipment cooling fans, you hear some kind of whining that doesn't exist in the real aircraft. I hope that this is still being worked on, because if not, it's a real disappointment. 2/3 of the community doesn’t care about such ai voices, we have 3Jcabinsound for that. Such stupid unnecessary things which people hate are eating alot of the release date time. Take some notes from REAL developers like Fenix and Inibuilds. Instead of getting in denial and not listening to the customers.
@ramzzess2 жыл бұрын
There seems to be a total misunderstanding of what is going on here. First, none of those features change the release date, the bottleneck is now the FMS and autopilot so this has nothing to do with release time. Second, this is not cabinsound, or any other plugin to simulate life in the cabin, this is a full training level MCC vocalization system with, probably, voice control in the future. This means full interaction with the crew, including procedures where "half" the work is done by the copilot. MCC in real life is mostly about communication and it can't be done without voices. MCC us a big part of airline reality which has not yet been covered in the sim. Finally, I am not sure what does "REAL developers" means exactly but we have been on the market for 13 years now, 3 of our core team are actual airline pilots (a320 and b777) and instructors. We have 10 (B777, B787 and a320) consultants and mechanics working with us day to day, and we have models used in actual pilot training - if this is not real enough then I am sorry.
@aladeenwadiya27092 жыл бұрын
@@ramzzess That you are 13 years on the market doesn’t mean you are “perfect”. Look at a350 what a mess it was, and still is. people where getting terrible performance on the FFa320 and reporting it to your team, however back then your team would get in denial that everything was pefect with the performance and that the problem was with people their pc. In the end you did optimize it without being right that it had good performance. Fenix A320 works also with real life airliner pilots. You are trolling people almost 10+ years with that kind of dissapointing 777. I am not talking about the modelment and texturing, i am talking about the management within your team!

@@aladeenwadiya2709 Who and where has ever claimed that our airplanes are perfect ? The 8050 had a issue with crushing for several years which we have been trying to fall, and indeed in the end solved. We were always honest about that. The a320 was always heavy on the frames due to the shier amount of calculation as it is a full sim, with its own dynamics. We were always honest about that. We said we will try to optimize it and we did. Great for as all. What about the 777 and what 10 years? The v2 has been announced less than a year ago. Where is the issue? The v1 has been out for 12 years and used to be one of the best products at its time, since then we have been lowering its price gradually as it becomes older. We have always been open an honest about our plans. We even give models names to suggest how deep they will be. I think the problem is that some users, do not take the e time to read in detail what we say, but relay on hearsay and rumors on the forums. I do not think that any of the released models at the moment are anywhere bellow what we promised. Including the 350 and 777v1. So far, the only idea is, "hire actors". which might be doable but only after its all done, due to "vendor lock"
