Juan , thank you for this. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I get my chemo on Tuesdays and Fridays and I'm able to sit there and listen to you talk while I crochet my own thing you really make the time more enjoyable to pass it's a great distraction from the treatment that I'm getting I love your channels I love your mom and I love being one of your members. I am enjoying your sign language lessons I used it frequently when I was a teacher at a early learning center My children were autistic to a degree and they often had issues with speaking or language skills so I taught all of them the basics of sign language so that they could have a better understanding and could communicate better thank you so much would love to be one of your yarn penpals thank you again , Meredith

80’s flashback happening (WIP it good!). 😂. The speed in which you crotchet is phenomenal! I keep my WIPS to a minimum, maybe 3 max: a long term project, a quickie, and a mid-term project, one of which needs to be “meeting-worthy” (not too complicated that I can work on during conference calls). I also like to keep them mixed for recipients (one for me, 2 for others).

I love love loved this episode. To just sit with you crocheting along and listening to you just chat away. It was like having you right in my living room. You say you sit silently and crochet - I believe it may be a sort of meditation. I have been there also while I would be doing data entry. I would start thinking about something and at the end I would not even remember doing the work. And every time my work was perfect. As I began to realize my work was fine, I would get into my daydreams on purpose. It is amazing how that works. Ok, need to get to my house work. Luvs and hugs. 💜💜💙💜💜

Hi Juan! I also like to crochet in silence. Then other times I use it as a chance to catch up with watching all my favorite content creators on KZbin. I definitely don't crochet as fast when watching because I am glancing up constantly. Especially if it is a yarn haul video! Lol! I have been enjoying the winter season so much because it is my time to spend crocheting pretty much constantly. Spring is coming though, and things are going to get super busy! I will probably doing my crochet mostly in the evenings before bed. This will be my first summer as a retired person though, so will see how my time goes! I love being able to see you sit down and crochet in a non tutorial way 😊. I currently have to blanket WIPS that I have been working on when I can for over 2 years now and I have one of crystals cardigans and a continuous granny square blanket in the works. My current WIP is another Easy, Breezy shawl by Kristin Ohmdahl. I am using Mandala Baby in the colorway of Acre Woods. I plan on wearing it over a white dress for when I go to church for Easter Sunday. I tend to dress for the Seasons...pastels for Spring, bright colors for Summer, and Autumn colors for Fall. My next project with be a shawl by Crystal from BagODay. I most enjoy making wearables. I am enjoying listening to you chat away and crochet. The sweet Amanda from Scraptastic Crocheter does this all of the time. She can crochet and chat for hours. I hope that Mama Wilma is doing well!! God Bless! ❤

I treated myself to 6 of the Furl's Odyssey hooks, but unfortunately I don't love them. They are going on eBay. I love the shape of them but can't get used to the inline hook. I prefer a tapered hook. I am working on a hexi granny for my new to me van and then I have a mini solid granny I started long and go and never finished. I am not allowing myself to start any new projects until these two are done and then we shall see. I am thinking of making an afghan for my bed.

Hi Juan, I'm loving your videos. I restarted crocheting about a month ago, I hadn't done it for years but i use to love it and spent hours with my hook and yarn, not really careing what I was making just enjoying the process. I recently started again and was having a terrible time with it because my hands don't work the way they use to. I was just frustrated and getting a little miffed at not being able to do what I use to do. I had to learn how to crochet with these hands instead of the ones I use to have. Then I watched one of your videos and you said something that hit home for me, you said "just crochet for the love of crochet " and I now have a really cool stocking hat thanks to you and I am enjoying it almost as much as I use to so thank you so much and don't ever stop.

I am in awe of the speed with which you crochet. I, too, speed crocheted for 6-8 hours a day in the past UNTIL I had tendonitis in my dominant wrist, arm, and shoulder. During physical therapy, I learned that I should crochet with elbows close to my body and slow down. If it hurts, to not crochet through it. I also take a break after an hour of stitching. You bring me joy. Be blessed and crochet on.
