Your blanket is beautiful, Juan! Love the granny stitches and rainbow colors. …There for a second, I thought you said your hot water heater was giving you Pump and Circumstance. I was thinking; It needs to pump so it can give you hot water! I know, POMP. You said Pomp. …My brain is cattywampus. 🤣 Smiles. 😊🫶🏻

I agree crochet is your safe space . Sometimes I can't wait to get home just to crochet. It's very relaxing and also Donating the Afghans to different charitys gives me a Sense of giving back to the community. There's something about all the beautiful colors in the yarns, and that you just can't wait till use them. There's not enough hours in the day to do everything I wanna do. So glad there's people out there Like me that think the same way, at least I'm not crazy😂

When I’m making something, I often imagine who would love it. There’s never been a mistake when a name pops into my head. All my love and joy goes with it. ❤❤❤ Happy crocheting, Juan!!!❤🎉

Lovely session; thanks very much, Juan. And thanks for the tip about using a 7 mm hook with Loops & Threads Soft Classic. I tried using that yarn a few months ago but thought it was too heavy, despite going up a hook size to 6 mm. Never occurred to me to try an even bigger hook! Anyway, I’m going to have another go at that yarn now, but armed with your 7 mm. Thank you again!!

I crochet everyday too. 52 years making knots. Never had CroJo. So many cool yarns, so many cool patterns keep me thinking and dreaming of my next project. Juan you are learning to let WIPs go. If you love it, you will finish it. If you never want to pick it up, frog and repurpose the yarn. Too many possessions weigh down your soul. Set them (and yourself) free and move on to something you do love. Life is best doing what you love. 🧶🧶🧶 16:14

I Juan! I love the Idea of putting out a simple tutorial on the Granny Shawl! I think you do lovely work and I love that you show your "human" side when working :) most people hate to state they make mistakes, I think having mistakes in your work is nice, you put your heart and soul into the work and the mistakes allow your soul to escape and not be trapped :) silly superstition but it's why I am okay with making mistakes now!

All my computers, laptops, tablets & phones have been some variation of Nelliebelle. Please, please, please do an absolute beginners tutorial on a granny square shawl. I have a mental moment every time I make a triangle shawl. Somehow, my stitch count gets off. This is also the sane with the moss stitch in the round. I have no idea why this happens. I have watched other content creators' tutorials and worked them up with the same results. When I watch, I totally get the pattern, but actually stitching it is a different story. Once I get any triangle shawl pattern right, I will be all set. I just want to make more shawls. Thanks! 😎

Finally able to sit down and catch a WIP'n It W/ Juan sesh 🎉 I haven't been able to come by in a while because I've been having quite the rough go already this year. Crochet has been keeping me sane, however! I'm currently workin' up a Whimsical Cottage Witch maxi skirt for myself. I'm a crochet clothing designer and I got the idea this morning when I woke up so I figured I would give it a go! Also, fun fact! There is a town in New Mexico called Truth and Consequences! Your "pomp & circumstances" comment reminded me of that 🤭 Also also! I name random things because I think it's super fun to do but also because I feel like things have feelings and they will be sad if they are special to me and don't have a name 😂 I even have a name for my fave pen. Her name is Plumalita! Heehee

I have an idea for your catty Wompus project … how about taking a paper bag maybe a large one full of the smallest balls from different projects and making a scarf or a shawl? Possibly totally random stitch, but maybe choose your favorite stitch or stitches, changing with each row and changing with each ball that randomly comes out of the paper bag. 😊💜

Besides the word Cattywompas, Have you heard of "thing-a-ma-bob". I'm not from the south but I have heard this word all my life. It means something that you cannot identify. I have always thought Cattywompas means oddly misshapen. Besides my daisy granny square blanket, I am also working on a Tunisian baby blanket in the color of Big Twist Sunset Ombre (yellows and oranges Mixed). Right now at 10:45 the temperature here in my neck of the woods is 10 degrees The snow has barely melted since we were blanketed with over 8 inches over a week ago. I enjoyed every minute of it like always. Thanks.

Fix your Hot Water Heater. 😲 Mine made a few noises awhile back and one night water started shooting out of the top of it. By the time I got it dhut off I had over and inch of water in my kitchen, living room and bedroom. Took weels to pump it out and dry up with fans. A tiny part broke snd it failed. Cost me ten times more clean up the mess. AmFam Insurance refused to pay for new carpet. Said was a mechanical failure. Lesson learned. I named mine too but can't say it on KZbin. 😉
