Hi fellow Scottie owner!! I have two Scotties, named Winston and Stryker, and have owned Scotties all my life.We already have a couple of things in common. I enjoyed watching your video. I semi-edit my Flosstube videos and don't worry about it. After watching some, I decided that I have too little time to spare to put out perfect videos and who is perfect anyway? 🤣 I love Shepherd's Bush patterns and have stitched Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Santa is Coming. Also a lot of pillows too. I'm also a big Harry Potter fan too, but haven't stitched any Harry Potter yet. Hope to see more videos from you as you are doing great!!! Happy Stitching! Hi, Dottie! Our first Scottie was Sasha, and I loved her so much! We had to help her cross the rainbow bridge after she got really sick with pancreatitis and I don’t think I’ll ever get over that. My husband knows I am a Scottie lover through and through, so he surprised me with Maggie last year for our 25th anniversary. She was the runt and compared to how big Sasha was, she’s still so tiny! I just got the Scottie biscornu that was designed in your honor and can’t wait to give it a go - it will be my first time stitching one. And like the song from Best in Show goes, everyone loves a terrier. 🥰 We just know that Scotties are the best of them all.

This is a wonderful first video. Very natural delivery and wonderful projects! I love everything you are stitching. I’m right at the time of needing bifocals but I’m going to try bifocal contacts so it will be a secret 😊. You should feel great about putting out a wonderful video that we all get to enjoy! I’m so happy that you fought the anxiety and put this video out. I can’t wait for the next one!

I wear bifocals and always tell the optometrist that I have to take my glasses off when I cross stitch. He said that is ok to do. Awe Mr. Alligator is a very distinguished gentleman. I just read about a 2 1/2-foot alligator named Fluffy who was found by a group of landscapers. Not something you usually see her in PA.

I just came across your channel in my recommendations and I just want to confirm with many of the others who commented that your video was great. I am personally glad you don't know how to edit because I often feel that edited videos end up to be very choppy and annoying and move so quickly that I, the viewer, become anxious watching them! :D Your video was more slow-paced and calm by comparison and I really appreciate that as a viewer. I basically just want to see what people are working on and so if a few words get mixed up or if it takes a while to get something in or out of a bag or whatever, that's fine!

Great first flosstube! You have a very natural delivery. I really enjoyed it (and am happy to see somebody other than myself wearing two pairs of glasses at a time!) Would love to see all the stockings you've done (another preference of mine). I read Helter Skelter in high school, too. Looking forward to your next video. I subscribed already, which I usually only do after sampling at least two episodes. --Deb

Love your charts and stitching - and such big pieces! Great job! I had done “Red” by Miribilia so understand the time it takes to complete it. I had changed from regular glasses to transitional and it was a game changer for me - especially when stitching where you need to look down while you stitch and the upper parts of the glasses - you look straight ahead - I loved the transitional idea!. Even the eyeglass people said I was handling it very well! Also, just a thought: No need to frog the Krenik stitches in one of your pieces - too much work and will rip your fabric - just start at another point in the fabric or change to another fabric and restitch and reuse fabric for another chart.. just a few thoughts. Hope it helps!

Well, I DO have bifocals……and I still wear readers over the top of them when I stitch!!😂 My husband thinks I’m nuts but my eye doc is fine with it. If I have the bifocals made strong enough for me to see my stitching, it’s going to weaken my eyesight overall-so two pairs of glasses it is!! (Or sometimes three….I have been known to forget I also have a pair on top of my head as well…) Enjoyed your video-looking forward to more!
