WIPED OUT | CRAZY RACE at Hickory Motor Speedway | Onboard

My fourth Limited Late Model race at Hickory Motor Speedway. Started P3 and finished P7. Got stacked up at the beginning of the race, drove my way back through, then got spun out with 3 laps to go. Nothing much we could do from there. Huge thank you to our lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Harry Batty & Brittany Byers at Mattco Industrial Products, Simpson Race Products, Jason Smith Racing, and my family.

Yep, it's a trick I've seen a few drivers use. They just drive it in deep and park it right off your left rear where they know you're going to be. You take your normal line going in and wind up backwards or in the wall.

Hey its TJ from Jordan McGregors pit, Basically what happened was our rear axel broke so we had to dnf. Our teamate 32 Klein finished 4th i hope this helps explains what happened to Jordan McGregor. I don't agree with him totally spinning you, but I also don't agree with your statement of "I passed him cleanly". You clearly moved him out of the way, that wasn't "clean". He was probably thinking "Okay, fair game" and went a bit too far with it. 😉

I didn’t pass him cleanly? I think you’re thinking of the wrong car, he was the 99 green and black car. I never touched him the whole race and passed him without contact.

The announcer said he was looking low and you kept going towards the bottom so maybe you cut down on him.

He pulled out of line and went inside of me when the announcer said “there he goes”. I was already almost at the bottom. Even I were to somehow give him room he still wasn’t going to make the corner anyway, he went in there way too hot.

Checked my mirror before going into corner and he wasn’t even peeking, and right as I was going to the bottom he stuck his nose in there pretty late, so late spotter didn’t even have time to say inside until I was already around. Understand your point of view though👍🏼
