Hi Juan, I am currently working on Boggy Blanket number 10, I am hoping to do two more so I can have 12 to send. I sent 12 last year to Lynette in Ohio. I live in Michigan so that was closer and cheaper for postage. I know Lynette is not collecting blankets this year so I will be sending them to you this year. Thanks for collecting them for the Boggy Creek fundraiser. It's such a wonderful charity.

Mile a minute pattern is a really good idea for Boggy Creek! I am currently working on preemie hats, squares for Billie, blanket for a gift, hats for Appalachian winter wear drive, a couple ditty bags and even a moss stitch blanket for myself😊. Boggy Creek is on my to do list, though. Happy Crocheting Everybody!

I’m making 4 boggy creek blankets at the moment…first one is done…it’s a large granny square (40”) rainbow of 5 very bright colors. The second is a traditional granny squares in a pink bubblegum pink with multicolored speckles…(it reminds me of a birthday cake), and I’m going to join the squares in white with your quick join method. All squares are done…I just need to put it together. The 3rd is in progress…it’s really bright colored granny squares, with a sparkly black border. I’ll join them Juan’s way when done, too. I’m also making blue variegated squares and purple variegated squares. I’m not sure if I’ll combine them we’ll see as it goes… in a blanket…or make them into separate ones. The granny squares work up pretty fast for me…sooooo….that seem to be my main idea at the moment…

When you mentioned Speed Racer, that was a show back in the late 60's early 70's (cartoon of course). My brother like it very much. I don't know if they still have it around since it was way back when. I hadn't even thought about it in such a long time until now. But yeah that sounds cool. I also forgot to comment on the video where you said you wish they would bring back the vintage variegated yarns and I am all with you on that.

I am still working away on a twin sized C2C blanket. Usually I am a Susan Bates girl but there was a hat that BOD- Crystal did that was easier to make with a Boye hook. I want to fall in love with plastic and wood hooks. Lighter weight. Plastic squeaks. A well-done wooden hook can be expensive.

My fav hooks are Pioneer Woman. They are my “go to”. I know you would not favor them because they are small. I have a small hand so they are great for me. 😊 If you ever get the chance, try them and let us know your thoughts. Very inexpensive. Keep up the good work. P.s. Hi Juan! It's too funny that I am working on a Boggy Creek blanket this evening and was looking for your latest posing 🌞. Some of the colors I have also bought some Big Twist on a couple of Joann's sales (this last one was 25% off plus tax vacation here in Ohio) and some Mandala's Thunderbird that is on clearance on Saturday. I have quite a bit of solid colors along with some variegated in the Big Twist. Am also all for the "Deals and Steals" lol. Hopefully I can make at least five (more if I can).

Good evening. Currently I have 3 wips on the hook 2 baby blankets & am doing googly eye snail snap bracelets. One of the baby blankets is darker purple - i can’t see it well at night so that’s my day wip. The other blanket is light yellow. I have been looking for Red Heart Bitty Stripes at a good price since you mentioned it on your channel. Yesterday Joann had it “ buy 2, get 1 free”, so I got 3 skeins for $19.00. I find that if you order Loops and Threads Soft Classic online you can get a better deal. You can have it shipped or pick it up in store. It’s an especially good deal if you buy 12 of the same color. I'm working on another boggy for a girl in white deep purple and neon pink, just in a big square like Mama Wilma, 3 rows of each color , sewing as I go. also got your latest shawl on the hook, finished my daughter's sweater but just need to fix the neck and sew in the ends. I have a shawl to finish crocheting and a shawl I need to tie in the ends, finished auntie 's blanket, need to finish sewing n buttons and ends of cocoon sweater for daughter , have other WIPS but not sure what they are, and some stitch practices for Tunisian and practicing knitting and purling for knitting. ordered those Tunisian hooks the metal ones from Ali Baba? I'm not fond of either wood or plastic, but hoping I like the in the round ones all I seem to like is the metal. I have future plans to make more hats, cancer caps, 2 afghans one for the house and use the same patter for my sister in similar colors. and make a throw for my brother-in-law, so he can have it to keep warm in winter watching tv. I have a big basket with neons and black and white so mostly I am going to use that until it's done for Boggy Blankets I think the purple I am using is red heart, and it is very abrasive on my fingers. Of that type of yarn I like the color best, but my fingers do not. that will be in the fabric softener for sure. I have other yarns I want to play with but they are not suitable for children's blankets. I did order 3 skeins of a variegated neon for boggy blankets though. I'd like to make a few things for myself and fill up my bin of scarves and hats for gifts. I had 3 hats done but I gave them to my kids to cheer them up. maybe I will look up a mile a minute and try it. so much to do... love the idea of mile a minute\. How about rumblin' racetracks :) you need a name? try that :)

Agreed……Caron cakes at Michael’s. Our small town has a small Michael’s, small Joannes and pretty poor selection at our Walmart. One problem in my town is that Joannes takes forever to stock their shelves. It took a full six weeks to put the itty bitty stripes RH out (after what would have been a door buster sale on it). Sometimes I want to sneak in their stock room. They say they are either understaffed or slammed. It gets very discouraging.
