Wire Wheel Life on a Foxbody Mustang - How they are Installed & Maintained!

As I decided to keep the wheels on the car so I can experience the "wire wheel" life. This also means learning how to take care of them. The 205/40/17 setup on the 17x9" Chinas (Fake Daytons) needed some attention from sitting for so long. I got them balanced up and then came the elbow grease of getting them clean. I can't believe how well the Street Juice "Them Thangz" product worked. You can get some below:

The soft lead protects the steel from impact marks. Thats the point of the lead hammer. The red meguires is the best for daytons.

Exactly that’s the point of lead hammer so you don’t mark up the caps I even put like face cloth when hitting them especially the all gold

Worked great on those wheels, I bet it’s acid based. Wouldn’t use it on regular wheels but would work wonders on bare metal parts. Especially exhaust tips
