Wow that’s a lot of work, but oh so beautiful,I can try and make one as I worked in electronics for 42 years and used tools everyday, so it should be easier for me to bend the wire 👍

Your tutorial is so clear and concise. Also when you refer back to your diagram it helps show exactly how far along you are and what part you have just made. Great job, I love it.

Oh, this is absolutely lovely! Fun to make, gorgeous, and doesn't use plastic (I quite dislike styrofoam balls, glue guns, and plastic in general, which makes it quite a project just to find projects to make lol). I'll be making a bunch of these, I'm sure!!

Thanks so much! Yep, I toyed with the idea of adding some glitter or something, but decided it would be best to let the natural beauty of the metal shine. Hope you enjoy making yours and have a very Merry Christmas!

Hello, having trouble making "crisp" corners. Is there a trick to making the bends in the wire?

Hello, I made the first layer of the snowflake and I wish I could upload a picture for you to tell me how to correct my mistakes. I would have purchased the template, but my printer is not compatible with my new Chromebook, and my old laptop is so old it can no longer connect to the internet. Is it possible to give me the length inside each triangle and the distance between the six sections?

Very beautiful. I guess have a question. I am into jewelry making myself, and I am trying to purchase good quality wiring that is water/ tarnish resistant. Any suggestions❓

Beautiful! I'm a snowflake freak and adore this! Yes, I'd love your directions/template. Thank you. How do I get that?
@FantasiaElegance4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Brenda!! The link to purchase the template is in the video's description section; on computers you might need to scroll down below the video and click "show more." On smartphones, you might need to click the little gray arrow/triangle directly to the right of the video's title.

Thank you so much. Is there a certain type or weigh of hammer I need to purchase please?
@FantasiaElegance4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jade, this is the hammer I linked to in the video description: amzn.to/2Dh7vxQ but any jeweler's hammer should work. Weight doesn't really matter; what you should be looking for is a smooth head surface and grip that's comfortable for you. If you're shopping online, searching for "domed head chasing hammer" should pull up good options for you. I prefer domed head to flat head, because the subtle slope going out to the edge of the hammer's face helps reduce hammer marks on your piece.

Beautiful! About how long does it take you to make one? And yes, more ornaments would be great! I made stars for co-worker gifts last year and will get started on snowflakes for next year.
@FantasiaElegance4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Tricia! It takes me about an hour to make one, depending on how focused I am ;)

Beautiful 😍😍 what is the final measurement when done? I would like to attempt this for my daughters teachers and would like to get gift boxes for them. Thank you 😊
@FantasiaElegance4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! It is 3.5 inches wide by 4.25 inches high when finished (and about 1cm thick, at the very center where the bead is attached)

Clicked on the etsy download tutorial and brought me to a page that you have to pay $2.00. You didn't mention this in the tutorial only that it would be available. Is there someplace you can get it free?
@FantasiaElegance4 жыл бұрын
Hi Debbie, thanks for watching! Yes, that is the correct link. I added a small fee to the download because some folks like to support the channel that way, but if you're not able to purchase, I carefully included all the measurements needed in the video to complete the snowflake without the template.
