I watched an Inside the Actor's Studio with Pedro Pascal interviewing Willem. It was a fascinating conversation because I had no idea Willem was so dedicated to the craft and art of acting. He also seems so down to earth and grateful for where he is in life. He's precious lol

I got this idea stuck in my head. Imagine a crime drama with Willem Dafoe and Christoph Waltz in the main roles. A story where you don't know who is the bad guy until the end. Those two playing against each other would be fantastic.

It's really fun seeing him like this, because all too often he's cast as the villain, or super serious, but watching this, you see he's actually quite silly and rather funny.

It was rare he was a good guy in the war film Platoon as the likable Sergeant Elias with Tom Berenger who was usually the good guy in his films prior to platoon in 1986 was the sadistic Sergeant Barnes He was a good guy in other films but has played his share of villains.
