I'd put some strong double sided tape on the unit in the passenger footwell so it doesn't rattle. Maybe cut out part of that foam so it's not just fully removed.

Thanks for a v informative video. This demo is on a left-hand drive car and the unit is placed/run on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel. Would you you reverse this on a right-hand drive F Type and go left of the tunnel?

Looks like an easy install. I noted that it uses the Aux input for the audio, but it didn't appear that you ran a cable to the Aux input in the center console under the armrest. How is the audio output to the Aux input if there's no cable run to the Aux input?

The convertibles have a slightly different head unit panel that looks like it goes all the way behind the seats. Could you quickly cover how to remove the panel to get to it?

The center console that had a pocket vs panel, is that removable? It’s a convertible. Seems the pocket is under the rear top panel with the roll headrest bars…not over like this video shows.

I was checking this out too. Unfortunately for the convertible the whole back panel is one piece with the cubby and has to come out along with the roll hoops to get access. Remove the lower black plastic trim piece that sits just inside the weatherstrip held by clips . This comes out along with the plastic trim that connects to it and runs up to which the seat belt runs through. pull away .. Repeat for both sides. Next prize both speaker covers they have plastic tangs. Start at the top. the bottom of them has lips on one side so yo have to remove top and side clips then twist it out. that gives you access to the 4 each bolts that hold the roll hoops in. Remove them. The roll hoops lift out but have built in 2 clips each at the rear bottom that hold them into the rear big trim panel. remove two plastic push pins that sit inside the storage cubby. then the whole rear which will lift out. It has several panel clips under its upper horizontal rear face. If I could post the photos from the workshop manual were it would have saved me a lot of typing.
