It seems like NuX is really committed to innovation and nice clean designs. I think that Tuner Pedals should include a Boost, an EQ, and Noise Gate, as each of these are almost always needed, and bundling them into one pedal would save room on those who still use Pedalboards, and could also be handy for those using a Modeler, like the HX Stomp. I had the old original nux wireless 2.4 wireless and it eventually stopped working, but I gigged them for 3 years straight, and I bought the nux wireless in ear monitor set up too which is awesome, they really make it affordable to have great tone and wireless solutions! Great, comprehensive review Scott. I’ve used a few different NUX pedals here in OZ and I find them to be reliable and they do what they claim to do. I’ve been using the NUX Stageman Preamp DI and it works really well. The Nux B-8 is AU$650 in Australia, so it’s certainly nit an impulse purchase.

This video pushed me to get this over the sennheiser and shure pedal units. Used it for a NYE show in downtown Nashville last night in a club full of people and terrible WiFi environment. Every wireless unit we used had issues other than my NUX B8 (in the low latency setting). Not a single drop out and I still had 7/10 battery bars after 3 hours of use. Time will tell if it lasts but the first use was a home run 👍

That this unit has a tuner and boost built-in makes it a possibility, as it would replace the current tuner on the board where I have no more real-estate space. Now, if they magically add a 5.8 or UHF version, I’d pull the trigger sooner. I’m still concerned about competing with the singer’s 2.4 mic, the guitarist’s 2.4 wireless, and the two 2.4 IEM’s.

Thanks! The GLXD+ (newer model) is a dual band system so it’s on 2.4 and 5.8 as well. This one has the boost and multiple routing options and is a bit cheaper. But both are great units and sound quality is solid in both 👍

Of course....It suddnely appears on my searches and looks who happens to be doing a video on it? LOL! Really loving the design and all the things about this (routing, tuning, fail safes, etc.). Love the footprint as well. Just as big as a Boss or smaller than a NUX Amp Academy for direct Front of House. Love all the details put into this. I am interested if NUX will sell seperate transmitters for this for multiple guitar set-ups, like I had when I replaced my Line 6 G30 set-ups with the C5RC. I had 3 of the g30 systems (all bought on sale for $120), and used 1 reciever on my rig, and adjusted the 3 transmitters to be able to connect to the single reciever and had this set-up for longer shows worked extremely well when it worked (older technology unfortunately, and they've never bothered to update it). Unfortunately, the C5RC I bought doesn't allow for this, as I bought 2 and tried to do the same thing with 2 transmitters and 1 receiver.
