So if you drop the remote overboard and it starts spilling your anchor do yoy have a way to stop it? Curious because Ive looked at doing similar but with a tap-twice-hold input required.

No it needs to be held in to work, so if I dropped it, it would stop and I'd either have to get the spare or the wired remote.
