I am completely new to wireshark, i am beginning in a trainee position and only have basic understanding from speedclasses on network.(and natural knowledge from growing up with old PC and home networks i needed to learn to repair on my own many times) This is helping me alot even though i dont understand all of the information yet. Anything that is confusing leads me on a google adventure and i learn even more. Thanks for the videos.

Hello from Venezuela Mr. Chris and thank you so much for your work and your will to teach. From my point of view teaching the protocols that rules the network communications, using Wireshark as the tool to do it, is an amazing idea, once you get the hold of wireshark, it becomes the proper tool for explaining the protocols. Please, in the future, can you consider doing a video or a series of videos about the subject of IpSec. Its a most useful and commercially usable tool. Cheers! Ygal Mizrahi.

Thanks so much for your instructive information. I noticed on this video that the sound is not in sync with the video. I had this problem with my video recording and found handbrake software a great tool to correct that by adjusting the frame rate to a constant 30 frames per second. When handbrake configured the video to constant frame rate, the voice and video were synced.

After watching your video, decided to try this. Been looking for something like this. Installed on a MS Surface Pro 4 and latest version of Win10 with latest updates. After install, Edge and Chrome would not work. Capture would not work and gave an error. Help for this was no help. Wireshark website was no help either. So I uninstalled and everything went back to normal. I don't have time to troubleshoot things like this. Too bad. Was really looking forward to using this. Maybe you should have a Lesson 0 for installs and issues with install?
