Very good video! Nicely done! I really like that style gauge a lot!

Junior, this is the first time I have seen one of your videos. It was recommended by Slade. Great video, thank you. Great explanation! I was wondering how to install other gauges and I will take a look at the rest of your channel. Pressing the subscribe button now!

One disadvantage of sharing the same wire as the stock oil light is that when the low pressure switch activates it is grounding your signal wire, so the gauge will read zero pressure anytime it is low enough to activate the light. So if the light comes on at say 5psi, the gauge willl not be able to read a pressure between 0 and 5. I’m adding other gauges, so I plan to use a multi-conductor cable to accommodate them. I’m using gauges made by Westach, they are more accurate than regular automotive gauges, being primarily used on aircraft. Got them cheap on eBay, fortunately the company is still in businesses, [ made in USA] and I can get the sending units from them. They also have a cylinder head temp gauge, which is definitely useful for an air cooled engine.

Hello, love your videos and they helped a ton! Do you have a video on the wiring for the front lights to the fuse panel? That is basically my part to do. I have the rears hooked up but not sure where the wires go from the front. Thanks!!

Junior, I really like your videos. Very helpful in reducing my wire anxiety. :) What is the reason for using a T connector with both the old sending unit and the new sending unit? Could you have just used the new sending unit and the OEM wire?

Using the same wire to get the signal to both the dommy light and new gauge

Thanks for the video. I'm not familiar with how much the oil pressure should be. Shouldn't it increase as you heat up the motor? I would like to have seen that to verify that it is working. I too had some thoughts about an oil pressure or temperature gauge.

Thanks for watching. Yes it supposed to increase

I don’t remember exactly, however, the rule of thumb is 10psi per 1k RPM.
