Hi Mark, great video! I'm just wondering how you connected the top hard plastic bit into the underside of the tap? I have a leak in mine so wondering is it faulty or do I need to get a new tap. I've tried forcing it into place as have my other family members and it just keeps leaking and doesn't seem to be able to push it in all the way. Thanks a mill

Hi Mark thank you very much 👍👍👍 I’m installing the very same tap , and need a little advice please . The blue bit under the tap that you connected your pipe to pulled out ?? I pushed it back in and it takes a little force to pull it out, so I’m thinking it’s ok , but is it supposed to pull out do you think , it also rotates so do you have any experience of that cheers well done 👍👍👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇨🇦🦢

Hi. The best way is using a switch relay. Micro switch only switches the relay not the pump. The cable needs to be sized to amp draw. Check amps and fuse appropriately.

As an ex BT exchange engineer dealing with both AC and DC circuits, I cringe every time you refer to a 12v DC negative as neutral. The term 'neutral' comes from the second phase in an AC waveform being shifted 180 degrees therefore each phase 'neutralising' each other. This doesn't happen in a DC circuit. The opposite to positive is negative.
