Here is the beginning of making your harness stand alone for a ALH system. The important parts of removing the right wiring and what you should try to get hole and what you can cut while removing the harness.

Man, I really appreciate you making this set of videos. PERFECT timing as Im just about to tackle the wiring on my ALH to Mazda B2600 4x4 transplant. I have cleaned up the truck wiring harness so there will be less crap under the hood and I will be looking fprward to your next installments. In one of your other vids, I noticed you mentioned putting disc brakes on the rear of a toyota truck and you mentioned a kit. I used Isuzu rodeo (I think or trooper) discs, and calipers to convert mine. It was really easy, I just had to make a simple mounting bracket.

Hey Samuel, how did you get on with the conversion? What gearbox did you use? Or did you make an adapter plate?

@@richardbutcher9789 hey Richard I finished the conversion about a year and a half ago I've been driving it as an everyday truck I did cast up a adapter plate and I used the T5 transmission for it I'll send you a couple of pics but you can ask me any question about it you want to

Which is better to pull the entire harness from if I had a choice? 2 wire 2000-2001or the 4 wire glow plug 2002-2003.

I want to make a standalone harness for my jetta 1.8t.. i would like to ask you questions about possibly helping with making one. i see people doing tdi standalone but not the 1.8t.. i want a/c and cruise control.
