Wouldn't your third brake light blink when you engage your left turn signal?

It would, that’s why in the video I wired it into the brake bulb wiring not the directional bulb.

@@azazel676 In my 2018 XLT they're not separate. All bulbs light up when the brakes are pressed.

Where did you buy the wire and the connections and everything you needed? I’ve been to the Home Depot and two auto parts stores and found nothing useful.

It does have a dome light but it's battery powered.

Instead of splicing your ground to another wire use the wire you run to your cap connection and ground it. Less connections.
