Getting the megasquirt harness laid out in the engine bay and figuring out where to place the sensors and coils. Getting the harness wired up with the additional wires for all the additional sensors and looming the harness.

I like the turbo blowing into supercharger, always wanted to do that with my Z31. It’s been hard for me to find a vg33er. I do have a vg33 though which I will put with my GT3582 turbo and external waste gate setup. I look forward to see how megasquirt works for you. I am still deciding between nistune or another modern stand alone system. I have also thought about a custom intake manifold with holley xfi system or quick fuel blow thru carburetor to get rid of computers altogether. For now I run the stock injection system blowing thru the MAF sensor at the throttle body and boost reference fuel pressure regulator. If you check out my 86 300zx turbo playlist you can see I have run a T70 external gated turbo and a TO4e turbo as well, both have their advantages. T70 pulls hard after 4k and TO4e pulls good just before 3k. Super charger pulls off idle so running with turbo gives idle to redline power.

I would for sure do the gold box. I have experience with aem infinity and haltech and unless you need drive by wire it can do just as much as any other "modern" standalone. It is only limited by yourself and whoever tunes the car.
