Was very curious why this was brilliant because there's no fork or immediate threat, so booted the position up and Stockfish suggests sacking the rook and knight for the bishop and three pawns. The black king ends up very unsafe despite the material disadvantage, so white ends up getting decent enough compensation

If black bishop takes then Qxb threatening knight. If knight moves then queen can take rook. If knight doesn’t move, and queen takes, it can trap a rook I believe

That's not how it works. A brilliant move is a move that will guarantee you a better position. If your opponent could simply take your hanging piece for free the move won't be brilliant.

Im proud to say that like wirtual I actually was thinking and planning, its just i dont see all the possible lines that could follow.

It‘s not about any value gained immediately in this situation, it‘s because after you trade some more and sacrifice you knight as well, you will end up with an unstoppable passed pawn thus you are winning. Is f7 the move? First the black night moves to d4. Then rook f7, then king takes rook, queen goes d8 abd take rook. And from there you have trapped the two black figures, rook and the bishop, if either move, you take one. Or is it, first, black bishop from b2 takes rook... And idk where u go from there.

Some guy apparently asked Stockfish and he said that you can win the Bishop and 3 pawns by sacrificing the knight in addition to the rook, leaving the black king vulnerable. I don't know how that would work exactly though, it seems to be thinking several turns ahead at that point and while I am pretty sure about Be6 being the right response, I don't know how to proceed. I would probably push the pawn of the other rook but that leaves endless possibilities for the opponent.

Its a really really deep long term sacrifice for an attack against the black king. I would never find it in a million years - you'd have to put it in stockfish to make sense of it

the only thing i can think of is that the rook now attacks the knight (which defends his rook on d8), if he moves the knight then you go rook g6 check he takes and then you take his rook on g8 with check and end up a pawn up and closer to mating the king.

There are actually another 2 brillant moves you have to find to make it work, after Rxf6 the best move for black is Be6... (if Bxf6 you take with the queen, attacking the rook and the night at the same time, the knight has to move and the rook will fall with check and a huge attack) after Be6 yoi have to find Rxb6!!, sacrificing the rook AGAIN for the bishop, after black takes back with the pawn the last brilliant move... Nxg6!! Sacrificing the night for the pawn! Black takes back with hxg6, you take the pawn with the qween with check and an awesome position 😃
