Nice to see the River Rig back in action and purring like a kitten! Lee getting in on that "find the fisherman pattern". I can totally relate in the spring! Who says spring walleye fishing isn't "visual"! LOL Robbie's weight set up to make sure he's on the bottom in that current was epic! I'm a water pressure gauge away from going out to play spring time bumper boats for walleye. Showing how you break down your retrieve on that 3-way rig was a helpful tip.

My and my family fish the same area as tradition every year. if youre ever in need of a plan B bait(which you probably won't) 3" firetiger swimbaits put a lot of walleye and sauger in the live well. Loved this vid btw, you got a new sub

So jealous you boys are already out in the boat. Another week or two where I am till open water at least. Can't wait to see what you guys do this season and good luck with growing the channel. Crazy to think those rock formations at the end were carved when the river was flowing 10-20+ ft above modern levels.

Also does anyone else here use a jet conversion setup? Been wanting to look into them and wondering how big the HP loss is from the conversion.

Michael Hanson ok thanks. I get into some pretty hairy situations with my prop around rocks and stumps so definately want to look into it more if it's only that small of an amount. I figured it would be at least half. It just uses your motor and prop to compress the water right?

Yeah that's the only problem with the flies, the walleye hammer em but it's easy to lose the fish!
