Thanks for this video. I, too, am one of those that was wired for musky as a kid... back in the 1960's... in Eagle River, Wisconsin. So many good memories... best fish was caught was bigger than me at age 14. So glad to see that musky fishing is still a passion for some... and not outlawed by the State... good luck!

Its not often people will post the struggles of fishing like this video being 80% fishless until the end. I appreciate this videos transparency of how fishing can actually be, instead of just posting the parts where you did catch fish making it seems easy.

It was definitely a grind for Pete and Josh in this episode! Truly a strong representation of the struggles and rewards of muskie fishing.

Agreed, Some of my favorite channels have bagels. I often learn more watching the speed, effort and groove when off the bite. Thx gentlemen

Question for you, you didn’t measure the fish to avoid stress which I totally agree with when it comes to a bump board. But would measuring the fish with a floating ruler in the net really add any stress? Obviously it’s not super accurate but I’m not experienced enough to guess the length of a fish within an inch.

What is the major you talk about?
@ClamOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
It's basically a key fish activity period of the day based on the position of the moon.

Most honest guy I've seen musky fishing. I'd tell people in 80s AL Linder be on our chain of lakes for weeks to make a 30 min show.
