Sorry to hear about your Grandma, prayers for you and the family. I can relate on the squirrel hunters, had this happen to me last year and totally blew a great spot. Keep driving on, looking forward to future updates.

Hmong squirrel hunters do hit the woods as a family in September. I climb down out of the tree when that happens. They are nice and it is their tradition, but I feel at risk of being shot so hunt closer to mid-October when they are gone and leaves have fallen a bit. 8-10 bow bucks at age 67. Love the videos Steve!!

Great videos with lots of good info. I would make sure you check the regulations on leaving a stand up in the tree overnight, everything I see for public, MFL, or FCL lands states it must be taken down at the close of hunting hours each day.
