That's some very different material with the chalcedony eyes throughout it. But I agree with you that the green and yellow patterning is the most unique feature of the mineral. Beautiful work on the pendant! 🎉🎉I like it a lot!!!❤❤❤❤

@RickSmith-kp3sy thanks. I have 4 or 5 kinds of rainforest all are pretty kool. But that piece was really nice. Thanks for tuning in.

This is one of my favorite materials as far as just being so beautiful! Never worked with it so not sure how I would like after trying to polish it, though, wow! That cab is gorgeous! I like the way you drilled it, too, saves a lot work! ❤

@soul_adventurist thanks Cheryl yes it comes in many varieties and colors too. I was thinking for sure it was going to fall apart but surprised it didn't. Drilling the hole also saves money no findings needed.

Rainforest jasper is pretty much just a conglomerate of thundereggs. Not actually a jasper. It’s rhyolite and chalcedony. I believe.

Well done on the pendant. Look great bud.

Yes maybe so. I said in the past how all these things get trade names to help sell them i can't believe how the names have changed in the last 40 years. Thanks for the input Jeff.
