Our sense of knowing more or less like everything is unmanifest. We are the unmanifest who knows itself through sense which relays phenomena which sense in turn is phenomena. Be here know, know nothing and see everything. Basically we operate through a recognition. How close that recognition to the actual moment or being fully present is. There is always a recognizer until there isn't. Not having a recognizer means you left yourself behind in a sense. Learn to recognize you are recognizing and step back from yourself in so doing.
