I’m white married to a black man for nearly 30 years. Race is the least of my worries. I’m trying to stay out of hell. I don’t care how much melanin or the lack thereof when it comes to a pastor. You preach the Word of God & I’m going to be listening to the Word regardless of who the pastor is. Your ministry is theologically sound. A sermon is a powerful reminder of the grace and love we are called to embody as followers of Christ. Many of you reading this may find yourselves online, harboring disdain for others, judging them, or claiming that they deserve their misfortunes as a result of karma. But we must remember that as a community of believers, we are called to pray for one another, recognizing that God can work in the lives of those we deem unworthy-He may be speaking to them in ways we don’t understand. It's easy to point fingers while overlooking our own shortcomings, yet we still gather in church, seeking salvation. We need to love like Jesus, who showed mercy even to those who had fallen the farthest. Just as the body of Christ prayed for Peter, a murderer transformed by grace, we must lift each other up in prayer during our own struggles and call those to Christ..Some may feel bound by their circumstances, but we serve a God who is capable of doing a new thing in our lives! Let us have mercy and extend the love of Christ to all. How did we get here- that's why GOD uses us through unfortunate circumstances to get his Glory. Intercede on those who need Jesus right now!
