This is a fascinating and intriguing video. I must say that I have heard of dozens of incidents such as this regarding other holy and enlightened men of India. These holy men, because they are in constant communion with God, know the things that will happen before they actually happen. Makes one ponder about "miraculous powers", siddhi powers, etc. Yesh Prabhu, Bushkill, Pennsylvania

Ram Dass invokes the philosophy of an all knowing predictor, in the form of guru, as a means to tease out the paradox. Free will features as a qualitative mode of consciousness (taste ice cream or not taste ice cream). A deterministic universe as phenomenon invokes a puzzle of perception as social rational choice, though not rational if 'who decides' is ultimately personal identity and private. There is a sense Ram Dass advocates social rational choice as a form of social good qua universal love.

I spent my 4 years that believing there is no free will and I admit it gave me some kind of security 0 regrets and an empty mind but I kept asking who am I? I just could not stop it and then I realized awareness is the only thing in me which it did not have any before and after causal thing unlike thoughts.Then suddenly I realized everything must be derived from consciousness there was no matter there was no energy it was all information so are the dreams.This is a dream set for learning purposes there is free will because only causes themselves have no cause and you are the cause.I dont care how much that supposed body of yours constrains you you have free will in the most literal way because there is only consciousness these supposed gurus are cowards think about it believe me I never listened anybody who told me there is free will for 4 years you are absolutely wrong
