We are to clense ourselves from all filthyness as listed in 2Corinithians 7:1/ We also must purify ourselves as in 1John 3:1-6. This is the oil, clean the inside of the cup. The inside is you. Start now it takes time.

I've been seeing this for a long time, l keep saying, what is wrong with the churches! I know now, a great falling away is not (going to happen) it has happened! I believe the Oil we need is the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. People that have left it to the Pastor, to read, to study, will be without Oil in their lamps. Open your bibles before there won't be bibles to read!

I stopped going to the church I was going to because of connections to false teachers and false worship groups. I am searching for a church that teaches sound doctrine. These sermons are a blessing to me. So are all who listen to online sermons a foolish virgin??

In our world today, we take God’s Grace for granted. We are saved by Grace and kept by His power but that does not give the believer the privilege to live in anyway he pleases! In fact, one who truly understands Grace just can’t help but fall upon his knees and thank The Lord Jesus Christ for His mercy! I thank Jesus Christ this morning that He knows me by name. “ I know who I have believed; that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day”! The urgency to be saved today is so much greater than people realize: today it is by GRACE: in the millennial it will be works again! Praying! The world needs Jesus Christ! “ FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES; it is a gift the God, not of works lest any man should boast”.

Does anyone know why there are people who are the foolish virgins and they don't consider that they are foolish virgins. My thought is excessive pride or narcissism, I have met several Christian people who have looked down upon me as I am considered very ordinary in this world and these people have straight out told me that they are better than me. When I turned to Jesus in these situations, the Lord comforted me and told me that He loves me but He is going to deal with these people in due course.

The once saved always saved doctrine is to blame for some of it. There is also a heretical doctrine saying repentance is works. I'm sad because many will be thrown into the Great Tribulation.

@@maryr130 we are all going through the great tribulation we all are the saints of God we are going to be tested for our faith. God comes after the tribulation tribulation is trouble with the world and the antichrist. The wrath of God is poured out after the tribulation thirty minutes after we are raPtured. The first resurrection is after the tribulation of the believers. And the resurrection of the unbelievers is after the millinium.

The "oil" is, in my understanding, intimacy with Jesus. The virgins who have their oil filled are the ones who have spent their time seeking His face, His ways, His Words. Getting to know and be known by their Beautiful and Precious Bridegroom. We need Him to give us a desire to seek this intimacy if we have lost it, ask and it shall be given. Let's ready ourselves by pursuing our Savior's Perfect Heart! He has an individual conviction and calling for each one of us. May He richly bless you all these days dear brothers and sisters. @@leslieiris7093 My dear sister, I believe the "wise virgins" are those who have become wise through their desperate need for intimacy with Jesus. It has nothing to do with past mistakes, rather, the willingness to now turn from themselves and look lovingly towards their Bridegroom (Jesus). It is a circumcision of the heart, a "spiritual" virginity that we all need to perserve for. Nothing in ourselves can manufacture this virginity, only our becoming one with Christ, who is perfect and covers all our imperfections with His Grace and Beautiful Love. Become like a child, relying on the Father to give you what He needs to cleanse and perfect you. He has immeasurable depth of love for you and is simply waiting for you to incline you heart towards Him. God bless you Beloved!🙏💕🤗

When the foolish virgins asked the wise virgins for oil, I do not think they were asking for the Holy Spirit. They are virgins and must know that no man can give the Holy Spirit. It is more likely they were asking for the Word which the wise virgins had and which had put them in the Rapture.

The oil is being filled with the Holy Ghost. You need to be filled with the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost Baptism. It is a second experience after you are born again. Acts 2:4. You praise the Lord with all your heart until The Holy Ghost takes over your tongue and speaks in another tongue, a heavenly language. That's how you know you have received the Holy Ghost. To be ready for the Rapture you need the Holy Ghost, the oil of the Spirit. The wise virgin will be filled with the Holy Ghost. God Bless and be filled with the Spirit!

Normally I really enjoy his teaching and sermons; but this was a dispensational train wreck. There’s no way the virgins are the church. These are the Revelation 14:4 virgins. They’re not Christians but Jews in the tribulation. Christians don’t have to worry about going to hell for calling someone a fool. Matthew 5:22 was to Jews explicitly in reference to the K.O.H. Which is a literal, physical kingdom Jesus will reign for 1,000yrs. Question: do you know what Raca means? (Without looking it up). Or what council will you be in danger of??100% not for a Christian. Paul called people fools (1 Cor 15:35-36) is Paul in hell??? This was an example of wrongly dividing the word of truth.

Ignatius914 yes to June blacks verse. Repent of your sins as we all do and thank Jesus that he paid for your sins by His death on the cross.. Start with reading John’s Gospel and ask the Lord to speak to you. Once you take the leap into His arms He will guide you by His Holy Spirit.

The Rapture YES is going to happen.. as well the gather of those AFTER the great tribulation. THE DAY of THE LORD The Matthew scripture in its entire thought context, was of end time tribulation to Jews. Jesus was speaking of the day of the lord very last end time that angels gathering from 4 parts of the earth .. which cause some to think there is only one return . When actually two different times are going to transpire. The dividing believers and non believers..sheep..goat one into the kingdom one into everlasting darkness. After the rapture has taken place and we return with Jesus .The 10 virgin ( Bride maid ) account often spoken in context as the rapture ( Bride ) , as the same return . As well (one taken one left behind) makes the two merge that we go into judgment or nashing of teeth with the condemed confusing. When that Matthew address Jesus gives is about the final avent.
