How to do square picture from rectangular :)

Sometimes it is necessary to make a square picture from a rectangular one. For example this may be required when you place some kind of advertising campaign on google AdSense or Yandex direct, because even such major search engines, and advertising agents can not always in its means to cut well the part of the photo that you want in rectangular and square form.
You may also need a square picture on your site when you want to place some materials on the site more compactly. Or this is how it will fit into the design more harmoniously.
The first tool that you can use of course is a windows tool, it is called"scissors". Push the start button and just write a pair of scissors and is highlighted in this program.
The second tool is online photoshop. It's very simple: you load a picture into the program and select the "selection" tool. Use this tool to select a square area on your image. In the process of selection, pay attention to the right side of the screen, there, in the window where a small picture is highlighted the selected width and height, carefully select so that these numbers coincide, and you will get a square.
Then click the "image" menu and the "crop" tool. Now your selected area has become a separate picture. It remains only to save it to a file.

а если нет свободного места на прямоугольном фото для обрезки?

Из прямоугольной картинки возможно сделать квадратную не отрезая элементы? Например сжатием или ещё как - нибудь?

Тоесть ты можешь нажать в меню на этот скрипт и картинка сразу квадратной станет (поля будут белыми, но можешь RGB поменять). Или сделать экшн с этим действием и потом массово редактировать картинки.

Спасибо за видео но это не то что я искал Инструмент ножницы не совсем удобный, рекомендую использовать сочетание клавиш Win + Shift + S

В задаче требовалось из прямоугольной сделать квадратную. Почему тогда из квадратной Вы вырезаете прямоугольную? 🙄😣😯
