Umbreon really doesn't have the damage to play top lane as an all rounder role. Trevenant Blastoise and Goodra are the ones that fit that bill better. Umbreon fills more of a defender healer dual role

Speedsters are the assassins (massive burst damage, usually negligible healing), attackers are the main sustained damage usually long ranged archers or mages, all-roundera are the frontline brawlers with decent sustain and disable or stun (which umbreon does), Defenders are just really chonky disablers but usually only valuable in teamfights (fighting more than 1 or fighting with more than 1), and support is just straight up S tier on your team but annoying as f on the other team

@@Cle-o Greedent in my opinion is like the anti-speedster, even though it barely does any concern-worthy damage, it is still the greatest counter to a speedster if used right in a team fight

Trevenant is the best solo carry defender, but blastoise and umbreon are just better defenders overall with trevenant not far behind.

It seems I havnt done well with really any defender though haha Btw blastoise seemed so squishy to me for a defender but I was using that wave move. Maybe I need to use the other one?

I like using weakness policy over cookie since wish healing scales off its attack stat. Beefy heals gives me so much more health than cookie ever could, not to mention your teammates.

I think Umbreon is clearly the best. I've had 100k healing games on Foul Play/Wish. I've had triple 80k+ games on Umbreon too. It's CRAZY good right now. So much so, that I opt to ban it in draft a lot.

Umbreon is the best defender for me because it does the job of defender and supporter, i played Umbreon in a game and got 54k damage delt, 116k damage taken, and 112k damage healed, absolutely crazy.

Just picked up Umbreon yesterday and really enjoying it. Reminds me of how good Blastoise is outside of his typical "defender" type of label. Nothing like a surf to throw an entire team off a goal, then a hydro pump to hold them off right after to let everyone score.

Slowbro is a the best defender in my opinion He's almost never been touched thanks to how well he was designed since the beginning He and gained a lot of popularity with the rise of OP pokemon as a must-be shutdown. True, he has fallen off a bit in the meta since less pokemon are overpowered but he is still great.

I also only get the membership and have ended up with enough gems to get the 2.4k gem holowears because there's usually not much to actually incentivize me to spend gems. I try to avoid it with new releases to not support that shady practice

Gotta say I love Umbreon right now in spite of myself. Foul play has always been fun, Snarl can be very satisfying against the right comps, and Wish scratches a real ‘Red Mage’ all rounder itch for me. Great at brawling, great at controlling the enemy team, but now doesn’t feel quite as busted as running Mean Look everywhere which is boring and has zero counter play.

How works the membership? I never understand it. I usually buy it with regolar cash because of it. I tried kinda any combination with umbreon and are all good. I still think mean look is still better than foul play regardless of the buff. Wish is so good, i really like it this buff because having a different viable option. The best defender is blastoise (the closest one at least for soloq is trevenant). Umbreon in team fight (tournament fights kinda) it would be insane with wish and mean look arguably at the same level of blastoise. For soloq i think trevenant and blastoise do way better in general. Trevenant is still so good. Defender is the best class in the game atm.

In my experience Trevenant is the only defender that I consistently can do well with and consistently have trouble against. All the other defenders can get melted down by strong damage and made to have no impact if focused hard enough, but Trevenant just lives. And unlike Goodra, also does good damage in return. Definitely the best brawler in the game. Slowbro is another good character for survivability and has probably the best ult in the game. But I also mostly play in veteran/ultra rank so my experience is probably different from actually good players lol. All these videos constantly praise Blastoise and Umbreon and those 2 do nothing down here in low ranks. I've run into like, 1 good blastoise and that's it. And I get wrecked every time I try Blastoise.

@@splatty0674 thats really not correct at all...bruh, yes Sylveon was really OP on release but thats because back then there weren't really that many Pokémon anyway. She got nerfed two days later right away and was pretty average for over a Year after that, till she recieved a buff to the build that was underperforming (Mystical Fire&Draining Kiss) which made her above average. And now more than a Year later she recieved some actually significant buffs to her UNITE move and a Sp. Att increase which makes her a pretty good choice overall, besides the fact that i still think that Mystical Fire needs a small damage buff, you cant blame the whole Eevee thing on Sylveon...she barely got her time to shine while the rest have been running rampant even tho they havent been in the Game as long as Sylveon.

Me when my teammates don't go to objectives- "I don't need you!" As the notice that I stole the objective from the entire enemy team comes across the screen. I'll admit though, it's getting ridiculous. Machamp needs a buff to where it can launch AFK and trolling allies as projectiles.

All I see sense the season started is Jack the obj plays I really hate those kind of plays literally saw a play where my team went from. Touching Rayquaza to losing it killing the whole team of the jacked obj murdering the enemy team and counter dunking with 70 points difference because me and my randoms were that fed up with it 0_0
