This was the first console game I ever owned... and it taught me about about how games work in general. I especially like the lines the characters spout out when you leave them standing... A lot of heart and soul was poured into this game. I kinda wish you can use power card abilities in all levels though... Too bad the Madagascar 2 game has a lot of miss opportunities compared to the first game... Marty can't even kick in that game!

One of my fondest memories of this when I would go into the arcade machine which was space invaders with Marty. When you enter the game Marty says “I love this game” and when you lose Marty says “stupid game”. So I would purposely lose and quickly jump back in so Marty can say “Stupid game... I love this game!”

When a new Disney, Dreamworks or Pixar movie came out there was a 3d platformer coming out about it as well. They were all unique and good in certain ways though Toy Story 2 was bullshit hard and slow as hell with unfair bullshit like starting all over again because you weren't jumping perfectly at that one line
