The one thing that most people still Do Not Get, is that ALL of these fights are filmed in 3 Days! ... Which is why there is such a Rush to get Bots ready for their Next Fight. The Next Fight is often only Hours away. (People think the "Show" is held in an Arena in S. California every Friday Night.) ...and Bots will have a week or two to repair, before their next fight. Not so.

I love these little things. It's great seeing these machines get fixed up between fights and such, something that we seem to have always seen more of in Robot Wars than Battlebots up to now. Also gives a new appreciation of how hard it is to keep these things running in a tournament.

Aww, poor Petunia: 3mm of hardox 400 cut like aluminium kitchen foil. Yikes! Have you ever tried hand-working that stuff? It's tough! Still, it gives you a good idea of the insane power of modern weapons. And the scary thing is, Petunia's front armour - 8mm of hardox 500 - only survives direct hits because it's sloped to deflect vertical spinners. A 30kg horizontal weapon catching it at just the right angle would probably rip right through. Man, it's brutal out there. (And don't we just LOVE IT!)

I think Witch Doctor has been my favorite as bot and team goes. They are all in on the theme and they are pretty awesome as a team it’s always seemed. Great strategy, awesome driving skills, and a really solid bot.

The maximum weight allowed at Battlebots is 250lb or 113kg, Monsoon weighs exactly that. The weight limit for the UK Robot Wars reboot was 110kg. I think there’s an extra weight allowance for true walkers or at least there was for Robot Wars.

Were you somehow under the impression that Witch Doctor would fight Petunia? Never happened as far as I know... they were just showing Bots being repaired. They are on a "Shooting Schedule" which has noting to do with the "Show Schedule".
