@@mateuszkonopka4226 You're both right and wrong. Freya was a member of the Vanir, which we conveniently designate as gods due when looking at it through a post-Christianity lens. Ascended ancestors might be a more appropriate view of the Aesir and Vanir, but that's only one portion of my point... Freya was indeed a witch. She was a practitioner of seidr magick, among other things. She 100% practiced, if not invented, several forms of Scandinavian/Icelandic witchcraft. So calling her a witch, and calling her the original witch, is hardly disrespectful, and we're using a language her name wasn't originally spelled in to begin with-- so if it's phoenetically the same, who care? Freya was original Fehu, Raidho, Ansuz, Uruz, Jera, Othala-- Which are F R A U J O. You can look up Jackson Crawford's research on this. Freyja or Freya are complete Anglicizations of the name. So like, lay off OP lol. Freya herself would not give a damn.
