Candy I can highly recommend Ivy The Occultist’s video on servitors too. That’s given me the push to create a servitor. I first heard of them a few years ago when Saturnarium had one on her channel. Sadly her channel has gone now but I will never forget her tale of her air b and b witchy accommodation where there were lots of things to steal. She had an old doll as a guardian servitor on a shelf in amongst all her treasures. One guest left in a hurry saying he’d been attacked by a doll 😂….

@@BagLadyJournals I agree! At first i thought it was weird but then it started getting interesting and was so different and it did seem like Frankenstein made her. The Doctor's father really messed him up but he still had a lot of empathy for the girl. I would definitely watch it again ☺

This is amazing! I found my servitor about a year ago at a thrift store. She is an original Russ Troll doll with pink hair. She is always near me on my desk, in my purse, in my backpack, etc. She only has one task and she does it brilliantly. I'm always on the lookout for another original Russ troll doll. I can't wait to watch the progress on your new servitor! You are so incredibly talented and creative. I'm constantly inspired by your art.❤ Now I want to read Frankenstein again. It's been decades since I read it in school.

@@CandySoulAndSoil no, she is the 5" hard plastic troll doll. I love the originals because they have the round ears. The newer versions have pointy ears, I believe.

Just catching up on all your videos. Love them all (of course I always do) but this one is an absolute delight❤😂 A fantastic idea just to Frankenstein a doll even without the servitor. I have a Sindy doll (the exact model I had in the late 60s early 70s) and I have been trying to dress and recreate the original feel of her but it’s gone horribly wrong🤣🤣 (There’s a message in there to dive into for sure) so you’ve inspired me to just Frankenstein her and she’s going to be glorious😂😂

I think she is awesome! I have a servitor I made years ago out of a 5' Kelly? (I think is what they are called) barbie doll and I, like you spent the entire day leaning her up, brushing her hair, making a dress for her just imbuing magic into her and she worked wonderfully... till she took a walk about and she has now been missing for almost 2 yrs? She is in this house somewhere she has to be but I cannot find her anywhere. LOL I even made her a little coffin'ish bed to lock her up in after she did her first mni walk about so it is a good thing you will be placing her in a bird cage when she is not working on a task for you. I cant wait for your next video about her! (Have you named her yet?) 😍

Frankenstein is one of my all time favourite books. I always think it is more sad than scary. It's message is as true today; what people don't understand they try to destroy. How the 'monster' was treated as an outcast made me cry. That book teaches us such a lot about how humans deal with outsiders and difference. 😊

I just saw an artist on KZbin who began with post it notes. She challenged herself to begin by drawing a single line on a post it every day. She found once the line was drawn things would start to flow. It became a daily practice for her that grew over time beyond a post-it into a consistent, expansive art practice for herself. 💖 The birdcage skirt makes me think of a card from the Ceccoli Tarot. If you've got that deck, consider flipping through it and you'll see that card for sure.
