Well, quite easy. It doesn’t matter how good the graphics card is if the games graphics are no good. The Witcher 3 genuinely now looks like one of the best looking games out there with Cyberpunk 2077 (and it was made in 2015).

My 3080 handles the game well with directx 12 and 1440p. I can even play with rtx or 4k but its not worth it in my opinion.

Ive got a 3080 and it stuggles at 4k on high. Not worth it, the game looked great with graphics mods prior to this update and ran flawlessly. I'll just stick to the old version 👌

Sadly my 3070 cant even run it, game looks like lego and grainy as hell even with shadows and lightning only, and it'll stutter a lot with large fps dips. Its unfortunate. Well whatever still better than before, raised fps from 60. All ultra looks great with much higher fps.

I have upgraded my processor and ram for my 3080 and now i have maybe 30% more performance. Even Cyberpunk works smooth now. Before i had lags in the inner city. I mean you still get fps drops there but you dont see at as much at is was with my weaker processor.

Not true. My 4080 is capped at 65fps with max settings and 4k. Never drops below 60fps. I could definitely raise the fps cap but want to keep my gpu utilization % down so I don’t. My gpu is at default too. Not even overclocked. I’m sure the 4090 runs better lol.

With raytracing i see absolutly no difference. The remaster doesnt look much better, maybe only the textures but the characters have a neck seam bug which is annoying 😅 Therefore you need better hardware for grafics where you have mostly no difference.

Other than the camera angle and the flora density shit look vanilla when you’re not by some water. I mean I don’t even get the update cuz I’m on last gen so it’s an L regardless. But I play at 4k w HDR and it’s great
