Hi Tim, I watch a van life channel that's in the USA, probably the biggest one on You Tube and the guy that runs it is in the process of downsizing from a big old ambulance to a Subaru car with a 10 year warranty on it, so he has no worries about repairs. I reckon even a secondhand MPV or estate car may be the way to go for you, if all else fails and would be cheap to run and stealth.
