Hello mom and dad resident ygo anime enjoyer here to explain YEP arm in the art work of phantom of yubel … so in GX season 3 (SPOILERS for a almost decade and a half ygo show) yubel starts off the season taking over the bodies of multiple students and the first antagonist for first handful of episodes. The arm is basically yubels arm which is symbolizing the host she chose using their power anytime yubel possessed them or struck a deal with them the person she took over would have this arm on them , and the phantom in the art the yellow body is reference to the first villain (vipers) son who he is trying to get back with the of yubel after they tragically died in a car accident. And that’s just one of many fun lore bits about yubel in GX

Yay a box opening!! I was able to grab all the new Ritual Beast cards for my deck so im very excited to play them. Honestly it sucks for those who want to get into playing the deck cant simply because of the huge hike in price with Elder and with Spiritual Lara being $24 a copy as well, people will look the other way. But this deck is really fun and will be quite competitive in this format.

Great to see a new video from y'all! The reason phantom of yubel looks like that is kinda a long story, and it's been a long time since I've watched gx, but I'll try to explain it. Yubel was Jaden's original boss monster as a kid, before he played heroes, and he really wanted to win using them, but yubel would hurt anyone Jaden lost to, so he sent them to space, where they went insane, and upon reentry to earth, most of their body was destroyed, leaving only their hand (don't ask me how that works with yubel being a duel spirit and not having a physical body). Yubel would lend their power to certain people to do their bidding, all of which would have their left hand replaced with yubel's during duels. Believe it or not, that's the short version

Great to see you guys back. But what I don't get. You guys can't stand playing through an "un-fun" tier 0 format like snake eyes but y'all love tearlements??? Tear was way worse for the game than snake eye is. Against tear you had 2 options. Play floo or loose.

So this comes down to just personal opinion. Tear was an extremely fun format for us as it felt very skill based. The deck didn’t play itself & though it was their 0, the cards were balanced in their own right. In simple terms, for us, it was fun because it felt like skill expression mattered. The better player won 95% of the times. Snake-Eye on the other hand is just a 20+ hand trap format. No other deck can play through 4 HTs a turn, making the rogue or lower decks actually unplayable. You could literally just compare hands & determine the winner off of that information alone. The deck haS 20 1 card starters & because every card does the same thing, there isn’t a ton of interaction that matter. In tear, every interaction mattered.. The SE deck is great and that also leads to what we said above, unlike tear, it just plays itself. It’s not fun to play against as the skill doesn’t matter. The power level of the cards just carry most pilots. Once again just personal preference. We aren’t the only ones that feel the way we do, & nor are you.
