my theory about why the doll was doing that was that the person saying 'it's working' was the angel. his text was displayed in yellow/gold, which could be a typical angel color, and the doll mightve started getting more frantic because the 'angel' nearby was approaching, and its likely that the 'technician' (as i will call the yellow/gold text person) was doing so, in order to check the doll or to murder the announcer

This is my theory about what just happened. First, let's focus on how Lilly kept repeating the phrases faster and faster. This could mean that 1) the "Angel" is rapidly approaching, 2) there are multiple "Angels", or a combination of both 1 and 2. Second, the fact that the annoucer thought that Lilly was broken. This is what makes the "Angels" much more terrifying. The annoucer thought that Lilly was broken because he didn't see any sign of an "Angel" being nearby. I have seen comments about how the technician could have been the "Angel," which is definitely a possibility. But, if the technician was *NOT* an "Angel," then that means that the "Angels" have found a way to hide themselves from being detected until it's too late (I'm talking about how the singing got very loud near the end). That means that Lilly is not only just a useful tool to help children when an "Angel" is nearby, but it is now a very important tool for everybody.
