This discussion is ludicrous, Hurts was rising, Steichen exits and Gannon and the Eagles crumbled. System Qb, Hurts does majority of his work off RPO. Operating from the pocket, very few compare to CJ. He had pieces rotating in and out at offensive line and Wr, no run game, and still carried this team as a rookie. I don’t know why it is hard for people to recognize, this young man has generational talent. If you created the ideal QB in a lab, CJ is what would come out. Accuracy, arm strength, great poise, decision making, reads a defense and underrated mobility. He checks all the boxes.

CJ can't run or barely scramble when outside the pocket. These QB he's being compared to can play inside and out of the pocket. Until he's able to use his legs to keep the drive alive, he's not up there.

Not tearing down Jalen to boost CJ. Eagles breakdown was on defense and losing both coordinators. Hurts character and leadership are not up for debate. He is still a rep of the H. With that being said, go CJ!
