Girl! Thank you! I bought a wig and with so little time I didn’t have time to book a stylist. So I did it myself. It was looking decent but I was like it still looks a little bit “wiggy”. I pulled some hairs out of that part and baby I cant get out the mirror. Mind you it the same wig I previously had my stylist install and you can tell me she didn’t install this one. It was 1 year ago & no comment. When the cap is too big you can cut it around the ears & there’s videos about that & sew in an extra elastic band to make it fit smaller. Figure out your size to get smaller wigs in the future

Newbie here. TY so much for this tutorial. I really needed this. Can you do a tut on thinning an entire wig. I have this gorgeous wig that I love. The curl the layers the part are gr8. I, being a novice cut to much lace and now it slips severely. Plus its so thick it makes a hump right in top of my head and the hair around my face make me feel like I'm being suffocated..lol 😆. HELP, PLZ help s sista out?? I dont think I can put any heat on it bcus there is no indication anywhere on the packaging that heat can be used so thinning it out is my only option.

I tried to pull the hairs out with my hand and ended up making a hole in the lace. Luckily it was right on the hairline, so I just cut a little bit of it off. I used tweezers and it was much better.
