Okay but Trevor's gift is literally so considerate and thought-out? Like he doesn't just buy her a car and say "this is your car now," he does all the work, lays everything out, explains why it's a better option for her financially, gets her employer to pay for the insurance via some kind of wizard magic, and STILL leaves it up to her to accept the offer I'm just saying that my clothes would be on that office carpet in a heartbeat

I DON'T mind at all if books and movies show the main character in a toxic relationship. As long as the material shows that this type of relationship is not healthy for the character (or anyone for a matter of the fact), and ends with the character realizing that their physical and mental health is deteriorating because of that toxic relationship, and they leave it for good, I would love the series a lot more than granted. 15:17 Thank you so much for saying that! I think its absolutely alright to NOT forgive, its not always harmful to hold onto it. You can work through it and be happy and not impaired in your own life and still NOT FORGIVE what happened. Personally, i had a case where a person of my family hurt (doesnt matter how or why) me and my family for a long time. This person is not part of us anymore. He still tried for years to change that last fact yet never owned up to anything and i will never forgive him anything either. Some things can not and should not be fixed. I even had to talk to multiple therapists about this (bc of law/trial stuff) and even though they favoured "fixing the relationship" as they usually do, they came out with the opposite: that man should stay away as there's nothing to fix here. I will not forgive and i am having a great life on my own. So thank you for pointing out that bias towards fixing/forgiving everything, even if it might NOT bring closure. There are many ways to find closure, not just one.
