The Ender Storm comes across as though it's trying too hard to be the Wither Storm as opposed to focusing on being its own thing, and the issue there is that it kind of lacks everything that makes the Wither Storm what it is. The Wither Storm is not only substantially larger, but its body is far less detailed, to the point that it's pretty much a silhouette aside from the eyes and teeth. This actually makes it more intimidating as it not only obscures its own appearance, it makes it look eerie and out of place as it's the only entity in sight seemingly unaffected by light sources. It also has a very irregular shape, as opposed to the Ender Storm which looks very organic and for the most part natural. It's easy to imagine where the Ender Storm's brain, heart, etc, is within its body, while the Wither Storm's appearance makes you question if it's even an organic life form at all. The most crucial difference, however, is the fact that the Ender Storm is a bit lacking in the *storm* department. Even in its final form, the Ender Storm just has a few trails of blocks spiraling around it, whereas the Wither Storm develops this massive spiraling mess above it that does a lot for its presentation. Lastly, the Wither Storm's theme is far better than the Ender Storm's. It perfectly compliments everything else that makes the Wither Storm what it is to create a truly menacing and oppressive atmosphere, while the Ender Storm's theme is honestly barely noticeable. All of that is to say that this really isn't a contest. The Wither Storm is the better design by far.

The wither storm is the example of a black hole. Nothing effects it, it doesn't stop until whatever the source of it is keeping it alive is gone, everything around it will be a mess and lots of things will be missing from wherever they set foot in it's path. The only difference is the wither storm is more of a living entity while the black hole is just a dangerous anomaly.

@@ospreysstuff It also helps that the music isn't even slightly in Minecraft's usual style either. Combined with it being the only entity unaffected by light, and its more abstract/fleshy shape compared to Minecraft's normally completely blocky enemies, come together to create what is essential in the depiction of any eldritch horror: the feeling that whatever you're facing is something that was never intended to be there, and never should have been. There's also this deep, droning, siren-like noise that occurs throughout the song, which is an excellent addition as when playing the game it almost doesn't sound like part of the song at all, but instead a sound occurring around you, and it's hard to tell if it's supposed to be some bizarre noise the Wither Storm is making, or perhaps some kind of a siren being played from a source out of sight to try and warn whoever might still be around to hear it. As someone who is a huge fan of eldritch/cosmic horror, I love this kind of stuff, and the fact that it was actually done impressively well in *Minecraft* of all things is really cool to me. The key to well-done eldritch/cosmic horror doesn't lie in the big details like what the monster is capable of doing, or the destruction it causes, but instead all the very small details like what I'm taking note of here. It's not the thought of the monster killing you that is menacing, for example. It's the thought that if that noise you're hearing is, in fact, a siren, and this monster kills everyone in the world, leaving no one to shut it off afterward, then all that will be left is the ruins it leaves behind, and a solitary, droning siren echoing across a barren world, the only noise besides the wind in a world that once was filled with all kinds of life.

The Ender storm is phenomenal in effects and prettiness, but it just sort of fails at having the sheer amount of character that the Wither storm has. Ender storm has no big glowing white teeth to play into your human instincts, no one colour eyes to show exactly how alien it should truly feel I really love the animations and effects on the ender stoorm though, it gets a point from me in that category

Ok I think it's obvious the OG wither storm is better, it's like asking if a wither is stronger than an enderman, and even by size comparison the wither storm is much bigger, the wither storms tractor beam is much stronger than the ender storms, the ender storm only uses it's beams a few times but they don't last while the wither storms does, and lastly, the wither storm can grow more than twice the size than what the ender storm is at the end. The ender storm may have more eyeballs but that doesn't cover it due to the fact that the wither storm can sever itself and grow more heads and wither storms. However I must say I do like both concepts models and design etc. but I'm on team Wither storm here all the way :D

Remember ender storm is from bedrock edition Which means they have API limitations

With a few lines of code that problem is nothing, even so, that just proves my point still that the wither storm is stronger, for what u mentioned, it makes it superior. But getting to what you said, API limitations doesn't effect their stats and abilities, it's just a natural thing for bedrock, but some mods overcome or counter that, and it's likely both do the same or the other. If not well either way the wither storm is still stronger.

FYI: Cracker's wither storm for Bedrock edition is in development by Decaying team, the addon will be same as Java edition and gonna be the best wither storm addon for bedrock. Probably it will be release around Q3/Q4 2024, however the alpha version will available soon.

@@XPGAMESLLC Genuine criticism: The soundtrack for the Ender Storm is a bit repetitive. The Wither Storm's soundtrack evolves with each stage to sound more intense and dire to reflect how strong the storm is getting. Maybe have the soundtrack add on more instruments and get more intense with each stage? On top of that, the Ender Storm is a bit too quiet for a giant grotesque, world consuming eldritch abomination. With the Wither Storm, it makes its presence known with its constant roaring, which sounds like a mix of a tornado's winds and the shrieks of a Wither. It's terrifying to be underground and hearing this sound getting louder as the storm draws closer. The Ender Storm should be a bit louder, making more noise considering how monstrous it is.

I Like the design for the ender storm, and It is Very cool, but I still think I prefer the witherstorm more. I think the Ender storm should either be more similar to the witherstorm to fit in better, or less similar to be more unique, but it's a bit stuck in between those two lines and doesn't really give off the simple but scary vibes the Witherstorm gives off.

The team behind the Ender Storm has undeniably done some great work! However, if you do not mind the feedback, I would like to say that the atmosphere surrounding the Ender Storm is a fair bit lacking. Personally I think the music could do with sounding a tad bit more intense, some more forceful tractor beam sound effects, and some more sounds the Ender Storm can make, while making them more frequent (and maybe if it doesn't lag systems too much, make the tornado of blocks around its head carry a lot more to help covey just how much of the world it's consuming). While I think the design and fundamentals are great, what's going on around it doesn't really match its intensity. Once again, great work to you and all of the team! I just think if you were to improve the general atmosphere surrounding the Ender Storm this could genuinely stand on equal footing with the Wither Storm. Cheers!

I honestly think the wither storm is better. Even though the ender storm has a high quality body, its theme is mostly what brings it down. Instead of it being something that sounds like it should be dreaded, the wither storm catches the theme especially with its abnormal size. Plus, even though it has “Storm” in its name, the ender storm only has a couple blocks surrounding it. And like someone else said, the wither storm makes a spiral of blocks instead of just… a tiny circle.

For dumbos: I tested witherstorm and enderstorm. Witherstorm is just better. Especially when you see it slowly coming towards your base at max stage. (From a long distance) Enderstorm got better effects but it's not free and you can't just spawn it in a normal world to start "100 days of surviving with another one mod"
