This tune has lyrics in it. Here is a rough translation from Chinese. Old memories like a window, pushed hard to close. Who stepped twigs Qing Xiang, firefly painted painted screen incense. Withered dreams, fallen. But there was something more to it, for with every dream came hope. It filled people with strength, as they continue to pursue their paths. For in this place where there was no one, memories filled it with all that one have been through, the emotions of someone that had went through life, despite all the struggles. For this was the place of nature, where the weary may rest, the joy may sang, and those with sadness can seek comfort. The peacefulness and calmness of the land was infectious, spreading like flowers in spring to every living thing in it. Here, there was no disturbance, no violence, and while lost travelers sit here and listened, they were able to continue with new eyes. For that was the power of nature, liberating, yet vigorous. Dreams that withered make way for new hope.

"Withered Dreams" error translation, literal translation is "the memory of the past"（such as the memory of childhood），there is no "Withered" mean. This song is beautiful and has nothing to do with negative emotions like "disappear" or "die".

I remember the time you used to regret the fact that people around the world were fond of Japan rather than China. But, i think that the success of your videos proves the opposite. Chinese culture is "that" mysterious culture many people don't know much about, and yet heard one or two things about. That mystery still fascinates people. Japan is popular among anime fans, but there are many people beside anime fans. You do choose great songs and great images to go along with them, which places us into a Chinese environment.

Though, When it comes to music and ancient history, It'd have to be Chinese ^-^ This music is just so soothing, Beautiful.. And wonderful. I can't really describe it! I even chose a Chinese instrument over a Japanese one.. That is, The flute~ !

+swrutra As for traditional culture, I think that being fond of Japan or China are actually very similar, East Asian countries share a great number of similarities when it comes to traditional clothing, architecture, ritual, custom, and a vast concept of aesthetics or even language due to China was undoubtedly being the center in East Asia for thousands of years. and thanks to Japanese pop culture and animation, Japan now in general is more favorable among young generations than China around the globe which is understandable, since China is still a developing country, it takes decades to construct a sophisticated entertainment industry to attract more fans, in that sense, South Korea is doing great in the past ten years.

I don't understand why will anyone be regret or upset about the fact that the world is fond of japan rather than China. This is a sign of lacked of self-confidence. China does not deserved attention simply because it is China, the world has a mechanism that will automatically eliminate the unpopular remnants of each culture. China has 1.3 billion population, it is good enough that Chinese people appreciate their own culture and wants to promote it. which this channel is doing a good job, I m Chinese myself and I have never expect anyone to like and accept my country. as for me it's hard enough for me to like myself. let alone liking any other culture.

Her hands gently let go of the flute as the soft music stopped flowing and she quietly backed away. With this song, she wanted to let go of her last attachment to him. The only thing left for her on this path was a dead end. Still, she didn't regret not turning away. It might have ended in sorrow but the memories held enough happiness to last a lifetime for her. She softly caressed the flute and left it at the gate, not willing to look back. In her mind emerged an image of his tender hands carving the flute and her smile on recieving it. But now his figure gently held the waist of another while she could only stare from afar. Like the cherry blossoms that wither in not even a fortnight, their dreams lasted short. But bloomed beautifully. She let go of him when he decided not to look back. But the only thing she refused to ever let go of were those dreams that had withered long ago, yet still bloomed beautifully in her memories. ___________________________________ The bamboo flute version is definitely my favourite. This version made me cry many times and I kinda with teary eyes imagined this small scenario. And then i started shedding tears again. (I dont know if it was that time of the months doing)
