I discovered WT on Vampire Diaries and searched it on You Tube. WT is by far my favorite band. I dont listen to the radio anymore. I have 40 songs from WT and a few from other bands like Epica and Sirenia and some US groups. Nothing compares to WT

Watching a video of their Black Symphony live performances has made me completely fallen in love with them!! Seriously!!! They are absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! Sharon has an AMAZING voice, with a huge range and lots of power that she controls really well with brilliant technique and now the more I love them!! Seriously, she's absolutely incredible and their music is wonderful and really my style! :)

Flew from Denver, CO to Baltimore to see this band. Live beats anything you have heard here. There is a quality to Sharon's voice that is lost in recording. In response to the above post by @Tcakoc, I discovered Within Temptation here on KZbin, otherwise I would probably have never come across them, so I totally agree!

Biggest pity with these Black Symphony videos being taken down is the fact I actually own a copy of it already on blu-ray (original copy that is, i.e. paid for and legal) which I only purchased due to discovering this concert existed from seeing it right here on KZbin and falling in love with it. Trouble is I don't have a blu-ray player on my laptop and so like to come on here to watch it when I'm in bed.

As for video, have Black Symphony CD and DVD, the concert is mesmerizing. I was there :D. Sharon vocals, performance is something which is jaw dropping :). For me she is now the best female metal vocalist. Tarja after quitting Nightwish is no longer the same quality, guess music adds a lot, Amy Lee got wasted in Evanescence, new Nightwish is crap, Epica is great *if you don't mind male growling*. There is a lot of other bands with female vocalist up front, but don't have space to write. :P

I'm a HUGEEEE fan of Evanescence, she's by far my favourite artist, but I can't deny that as her years have gone on her voice has become more strained and she's lost some of her really good technique. She is an AMAZING singer, but she's not very good live (yeah good at acoustic live, but when she's running around she just loses her wonderful voice) but Sharon .... she's INCREDIBLE!!! And what's more she's foreign, and yet she sings English PERFECTLY!!

I don't think artist are against putting their stuff on YT, ask them, it's down to the greedy companies like WMG, Sony, etc. who are against it. I got permission to upload vids of bands no problems, even have confirmations, but Sony, WMG and other big companies don't give the damn about it. It's a shame, because the more you hear of the band the more likely you are to buy their album and support them (and yes, I do NOT upload whole albums to promote artists as 2-3 songs are enough)
