A seven and a half minute orchestra intro is one hell of an ambitious intro. WT pulled off an great mix with the live orchestra. In some cases the live orchestra just doesn't play well, but not here.

8 years ago someone wrote “ the most epic metal concert ever” . IMHO it still is! I didn’t see any concert in the scene what is better, because when you pretend a Symphonic Metal band and you have concert in your home country you took the challenge to use a real orchestra and choir. Maybe this is typical Dutch to do this kind of concerts. Look at the anniversary concert of Epica that’s amazing to or all the amazing collaborations between the different scenes.

Yep, i bought the dvd coz i saw the youtube clips ... would have never heard of that concert otherwise, so would have never bought it ... When you really like something you buy it in the end. Fucking majors. My 2 cents

You owe it to yourself to buy the blu-ray and enjoy it in full surround sound. The concert is recorded in lossless PCM 5.1 channel. Unfortunately the video is 1080i and not progressive, but its good enough considering the music mix is perfect.

As anyone else realized that the CD for Black Symphony, at least the American release, and The Heart of Everything are basically the same album with the exception of a few songs?
