Doro Pesch is the Queen of Metal. She's 12 years older than Tarja and 10 years older than Sharon. I always wondered how this two beautiful woman could look so young for their ages, could handle the fitness you need for their incredible Stageperformances, have both married man who fully support their musical Carriers and be a Part of it, are still together with their Husbands, who are also the fathers of their kids, play so many Concerts, at the times they were pregnant and be on Tour since their Kids are alive.

I saw them live together. Within Temptation was one of the Main Acts for the Mera Luna Festival 2018 or 2019 and for this one Song they get Tarja on Stage. It was incredible. If someone of you wasn't their just look it up on KZbin and you will find the original Video from this live Performance.

Interesting... I can indeed confirm that Sharon is a wonderfully down-to-earth and sincere person. I met her when they came outside after a concert; she did everything she could to help out when my taxi failed to show up --which got me about half a dozen water bottles. For lack of anything else she kept bringing one from their bus. :) So... although I reckon you agree that she would never demand it, most folks would indeed try to accomodate her. but, as you said, everyone has a say in WT. iim very happy to see my queens together in one song, pretty epic. hope that Tarja will sing with Anette and Nightwish will resurrect. Time stopped for me in 2005, but for other reasons. (cont) As for Tarja: indeed, the Nightwish debacle was harsh and left its marks. Anneke prolly opted for the same reason after The Gathering split up (likely not after such harsh circumstances; don't know the details there). Anyway Tarja deserves the success she has with the new band. Your comment made me rather curious about the input she had in this song: it was finished before she was asked to join IIRC, but you never know what alterations they came up with together. Can't wait to ask them :)

I agree - tough it seems hard to realize, I get the impression most people will try to accommodate Sharon, probably because she's nice and sincere. If the click was there, mutual, Sharon won't let go. After the Nightwish-backstabber Tarja of course opted for a band she employs. That finally works and she feels responsible for that band. . But perhaps she misses creative feedback and in WT everybody has a say..

Well, she wouldn't claim she has an amazing voice. But she did mention, not only here, that WT was pleased with the song but they thought it would fit the wonderful voice of Tarja very wel. I think she even said that it lacked something she could not give. Anyway, she made it clear that Tarja has an amazing voice.

And years of touring and rebuilding. I found her act 1 on UT, it sounded so bad. However, the total concert is between 14 and 15 GB and it's very good. Parts are amazing - and she was honestly touched by the reactions. Iit seems she has the musicians she wants. And, she's beginning to work together with different artist, making her part of a team at times.

Part 2: For the rest, Tarja seems to have decided, after the nasty Nightwish stunts, to build and own a band. That was hard and she's responsible. She's obviously a lady, she agreed to perform a song with Floor Jansen, the new (Dutch) singer of Nightwish.
